I must say for a player who cost very little and not much was expected from him he has been excellent for Liverpool. He is solid as a rock and rarely has a bad game. He seems to embody the club spirit and looks as excited to be playing for Liverpool as anyone. He is a very underated player and I would like to see him kept on as a squad player in the summer.

He's building a cult following much like Biscan & Meijer. We do have issues at centreback and need a couple of first choice ones in the summer but I'd want Soto to stay. Sure, a super-nippy and nimble striker will rip him to bits but he'll be a bonus more often than not. On paper he's ideal for the alhouse teams (although we as a team often struggle because of an attitude issue) but it's the big games where he stands out - he just fecking loves it.

Rooney, Berbatov and Hernandez didnt get much past him today. How many Suarez types players are there in Europe, you reckon? I think he's a great option to have in your squad. Gobbles up long balls and crosses like Pacman and wont mind being on the bench either. A lot depends on the number of centrebacks we buy in the summer. One and i'd still keep him, more, then we'd probably not miss him.
