Andy @ Allerton Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 You get three guesses as which three ways Rog the Hog will put his experienced foot into it at his next press conference. What are your guesses?
RBM Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Claim the Champions League win was a fluke, drag kenny Dalglish into another argument and demean the stature of Liverpool by claiming Chelsea are a bigger club.
Swipe Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He'll say something about "realistic expectations when playing against these big clubs". Then cough up a pear drop.
Tobes Rafa Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Say the majority of Redcafe are behind him and thank them for their efforts in the KRAP campaign.
Stupid Sexy Flanders Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He'll call all Spanish people "lazy Mexicans".He'll claim Inter won the Champions League because of him. He'll express his outrage that Poulsen wasn't shortlisted for the Ballon d'Or. In that order.
WillG Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Will he come across as someone so staggeringly out of his depth that he'll nervously grab at his face, perhaps blaming every c*nt within a thousand mile radius for our current woes? I think we should be told!!!
floyd Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 (edited) William Shankly not even in the same ball park as AllardycePaisley, he may of won 3, but Sir Alex's (tongue suggestively round his lips, as his finger pulls out of mouth) 2 where so much harderDalglish, not as good as Clint Dempsey Honestly, RFH could turn for his press confrences dressed up as Gary Glitter, holding hands with two 8 year old boys, singing "I want to take you to a Gay Bar", and still be given an easy ride by the press Edited November 2, 2010 by floyd
Billy Dane Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 The result today shows how far we have got to go to bury the disastrous legacy left by Benitez, and I am sure the fans understand what a hard job I have to do here, particularly if we are to entertain thoughts of competing with big clubs like Chelsea and the glorious Manchester United.I am pleased to report that John Henry agrees with me. At our first meeting this week he told me that changes were coming and I should be ready for them. He also talked about the turgid dross we have at the club and the sooner we bought in a younger more dynamic leader the better. Personally I think we should still keep Gerrard as he's English and understands the game in this country.
alias75 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 The scary thing is however surreal and crazy you try and make these posts the real thing will be even more crazy and even more surreal. Ive lost count of the times ive thought actual Roy quotes were someone on the wind up in the last few weeks.

Flight Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 It's only a matter of time before he mentions G&H and Rafa in the same sentence, lumping them together. Has he evoked Shanks yet ?
Spike Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 The scary thing is however surreal and crazy you try and make these posts the real thing will be even more crazy and even more surreal. Ive lost count of the times ive thought actual Roy quotes were someone on the wind up in the last few weeks. "I thought he'd have been more focused on his current team with a big game against spurs than worrying about what we're doing. We have a big european night ahead and (if inter lose) I won't be drawn on it as we saw last night, it doesn't do anyone any good. We are here to do a job, we may have a difference of opinion but the fact is I'm left to fix up a club and squad in bad repair. We got off to a bad start but great european nights are what this club is all about as we've seen in earlier rounds. it lifts the players, lifts the crowd and a draw against napoli tonight will all but see us through." The result today shows how far we have got to go to bury the disastrous legacy left by Benitez, and I am sure the fans understand what a hard job I have to do here, particularly if we are to entertain thoughts of competing with big clubs like Chelsea and the glorious Manchester United.I am pleased to report that John Henry agrees with me. D.Boon Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I cant believe he was banned from Rawk either. This place hasn't been the same without his zany, wackiness.
smithdown Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He will play the 'I am above all this' card and will then give further proof that he isnt
RBM Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 You don't, become a bad manager over night, nor do you become such a good and respected one as I am without 35 years experience. It is has been acknowledged, what a highly regarded manager I am through my winning of the LMA award. For these reasons I was approached to take over the big job left at Liverpool by the previous incumbent who despite being popular on Merseyside, has neither of these things. I ws also a little dissapointed to learn that Kenny had also approached the board for the job, knowing he cannot compete with my unique knowledge of European football, which is recognised from Malmo to Stavanger. To be honest having to answer such questions and constantly deal with speculation regarding my future is is totally disrespectful to manager of my standing, which is recognised by such luminaries of the game as Alex ferguson and Sam Allardyce. Especially when we are trying to concentrate on a game against a bigger club than us. I'm very much like Bill Shankly in that I'm here for the long haul, and bring memorable European night such as those in Utrecht and Napoli back to Liverpool. And who knows if we are lucky and can avoid some of the bigger boys, have decent run in this years FA cup, if work hard we could even make the last 16.
MarkD Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I'm sorry to have to respond to to the attack on me and this club by Rafa Benitez but it my duty to defend whatI hold dear to me. I have managed in Sweden and Switzerland, have you Rafa? I've been an international manager, have you Rafa? I am the current LMA manager of the year, have you ever won that Rafa? And Liverpool have won a few things in the past too.
Leo No.8 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 (edited) He'll pop a Werthers Original, then proceed to tell us about his 35 years of management and how expectations are out of control since we moved out of the relegation places. He's not naive enough to think we might win again this season or reach the utopia that is mid table. Then hopefully he might choke. Edited November 2, 2010 by Leo No.8
RBM Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Are none of you getting bored with all this yet? I'm bored with him still being here.
Sir_Bob_Paisley Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He will point at each person in the room and ask them if they are the priest, sowwy, pweest. He will refuse to drink white liquid from a bottle in case it's not milk. He will announce the loaning out of our entire first team to protecttheir value,
Billy Talbot Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He's bound to say he doesn't want to get involved when asked about what Rafa said. Then talk about not responding to cryptic comments. Probably go on to say how the squad isn't good enough and how he's been talking about strengthening it with JH. He'll chat about that as though this is Rafa's fault. He's bound to say that there will be outgoings in January too and though he'd like to keep our best players, we need more league points in order to be able to defend ourselves from the advances of bigger clubs. He's bound to say European nights are what Liverpool are all about then go on to compare this season's campaign with our glorious past, he'll maybe try to qualify this by saying how he knows this is only the UEFA, but that we've got to start somewhere.
Leo No.8 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Are none of you getting bored with all this yet? Boredom would be utopia - I'm not naively thinking we're likely to ascend to boredom anytime soon. We are in the icy clutches of misery.
Hassony Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 He'll call all Spanish people "lazy Mexicans". "I have an LMA award - do Rafa?" That's exactly what i was going to write!
