Ignoring the sneery, typical tone of the article (last line in particular) - is there any truth that there'll be a few quid available in January?

 

Hangeland, Defour and a striker would do no harm, not that £12M would even cover the down payment.

Defour would be a good signing but I just don't believe that the money will be there to spend in midfield.

It'll be announced in Feburary that, oh didn't everyone realise?, taking the players and staff to away matches on coaches and sometimes on big aeroplanes and putting them up in nice hotels has to be factored into this magnificent £12m we plan to spend.
