Surely you're not suggesting that Gerrard got injured because he starts every game. He's our best player, he HAS to start every match.

 

Better for him to play 4 games in 2 weeks and pull a muscle than the manager bench him once in a while.

Its not as if they have to pull these controversial stunts to pull in viewers is it ? Its usually a monopoly on the broadcast and they aren't competing with another broadcaster.

Despite that, its evident that they have a load of people in production of these shows who are well versed in the dark arts of spin and sensationalism. The media are full of it now and its putting me off turning on the tv or reading the news. To give an example, the BBC was determined last week to spice up its reporting of Robbie Keane's transfer by widening the shortfall in fees as much as possible. Even after Rafa clarified the matter, the BBC reports had the naked figures of £20m and £12m.

Tim sherwood sounded very bitter but i don't know why he should of spoken the way he did. He is a coach with spurs now and if i was a spurs fan i would not be happy he was spending his time talking crap on tv when the team is struggling and before he slags off other teams maybe he should have a look at the current league table.

Sherwood is the worst I have seen but Houghton gave him a run for his money on Irish TV last night. Someone had done up a graphic of the Liverpool team based on a four four two formation. The f***wit criticised the choice of that formation and the performance of the players within and said that Benietz was responsible for each.
