McCourty gets tagged before working out a long term deal, Gostkowski probably gets a deal like Dan Bailey, Vereen will probably test the market before the Pats re-sign him I think, Connolly ditto.........and then there's Revis. My opinion on him being in New England beyond a year has fluctuated wildly. At first I thought he would stay no matter what, then I thought he was simply using the Pats as a shop window, then I thought he would only stay if we won the Superbowl, then I thought he would only stay if we didn't win just so he could get a second crack at it. Right now I just don't know. Immediately after the game he said he would love to come back for another year but since then his agent has obviously spoken to him and he's now saying 'wait and see' in his interviews, which is the right thing to do from a business point of view. Either way, his contract is the one the Pats need to get done first. McCourty and Gost are going nowhere though. IMO.
