  1. McCourty gets tagged before working out a long term deal, Gostkowski probably gets a deal like Dan Bailey, Vereen will probably test the market before the Pats re-sign him I think, Connolly ditto.........and then there's Revis. My opinion on him being in New England beyond a year has fluctuated wildly. At first I thought he would stay no matter what, then I thought he was simply using the Pats as a shop window, then I thought he would only stay if we won the Superbowl, then I thought he would only stay if we didn't win just so he could get a second crack at it. Right now I just don't know. Immediately after the game he said he would love to come back for another year but since then his agent has obviously spoken to him and he's now saying 'wait and see' in his interviews, which is the right thing to do from a business point of view. Either way, his contract is the one the Pats need to get done first. McCourty and Gost are going nowhere though. IMO.
  2. Normally the call would come from the Offensive Co-ordinator, but after watching the post game interviews, it actually came from Pete Carroll himself. The Pats only had 3 DB's on the field and were in a goal-line defense, expecting a run. It was a good call, IMO. Certainly as we won the game anyway!
  3. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKINNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG YYYYYYYYYEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I feel physically sick, and it's not even started yet.
  5. s***ting bricks. Thing is, losing this one I can handle much better than the two to the G*ants. Gah, I just hope that the bulls*** air b******s hasn't distracted the players and coaching staff too much. Think we'll lose, just, but the thought of winning #4 is absolutely salivating. God I hate this.
  6. When he changes his mind, his back foot should 'bounce', it's how all quarterbacks are taught to reset their feet. It doesn't bounce and then it doesn't plant.
  7. For anyone going that will be having a beer, stick to the cricket club or the town centre. Stay away from the boozers near the ground, they will be full of Burnley's (not very) brightest.
  8. An image of Manning's footwork on one play last night - he could not plant his back-foot to get the velocity on the throw:
  9. Watched most of the game last night - Manning's arm strength looks shot and his footwork was horrible. Something isn't right.
  10. Sorry for the ass-kicking Leo...... Brady was incredible. Not bad for someone being over the hill, washed up, in decline etc.
  11. That's better Pats. The Chiefs game was a f*cking abomination but they've responded well with two big wins. On to Jets week now......
  12. Eagles offense has about 50 yards total. Who says ST's isn't important?
  13. I could be tempted to part with VJax, if someone makes me a decent offer.....
  14. After the Superbowl, it's the biggest day in the NFL calender. For many, it's their favourite day of the year, me included.
  15. To be fair, the Buccs do have some talent offensively in Jackson, Evans. ASJ and the Muscle Hamster. It's about systems and coaching and Jeff Tedford, whilst worshipped in College circles, has never proved himself in the NFL.
  16. Unless you're a fan of a NFC North rival, I think I'm safe to say that AP is most neutral's favourite player from another team. Heck, he's my favourite player in the NFL full stop. Why can't people just live their life without being a turd? Part of me has died reading this.
  17. Just a quick heads up on this - it applies to any financial institution governed by the FOS. Banks, Insurance, Loans, Store cards, Catalogue companies etc etc. You have to give the company involved sufficient time to respond to a complaint (8 weeks) and for them to give what they'd call a final response. From there you can then involve the FOS who immediately charge the company involved £500, whether it's their fault or not.
  18. Excellent piece today by Charlie Brooker in the Grauniad.
  19. It's because Goodell is a dick and s*** at his job.
  20. Seahawks were very impressive last night. I thought the Packers O-line did about as well as they could once Bulaga went down, but they were in a no-win situation against that Seahawks pass rush. Wilson is a great one......
  21. 17-10 Seahawks so far. Beast-Mode tearing it up so far although the Packers offense is playing well at the minute.
  22. Are we doing the survivor thing again?
