Might I suggest the young Alex Hutton of Rangers and Scotland.

Looks a cracking player with real ability, great going forward, can still improves defensively and only young.

Its clearly an area we are going to need to look at in the not too distant future and Arbeloa doesnt look as comfortable on the right....

I knew someone would post this today!

Haha, same.

Gotta say i was impressed with him though, especially a few of his performances in the champs league like the first game with Barca. Havent seen enough of him to judge if he's good enough for us though.

and here's me thinking he's been better than Finnan, especially attackingwise

He did look excellent yesterday.

I thought he was terrible. Switched off for both goals, the first one was awful, and his decision making looked poor.

Great going forward, shame about his inability to defend though.

I actually think Barry Ferguson is an excellent player. His trouble is being a wee glasgow ned who missed his bucky and fish suppers.

I thought he was getting to grips with the Premiership when he left Blackburn. They played a game against the mancs just before he went back to Rangers and he ran the game, he was brilliant. If he'd have gone to a better team than Blackburn, I think he would have been a success.

he looked excellent for the first goal being completely asleep and also giving away the free kick for the winner. So at fault for both goals, excellent yes excellent. Also he looks about 40. As for atbeloa looked dodgy at right back, i dont agree with this he had 1 suspect game away to chelsea in the champs league semi apart from that hes been solid.

Really don't think he can be blamed for that free kick.

We should sign that David Healey, he must be the best striker in international world football in the world.

Healy would be great for us. Given the amount of chances we create, the wee man would be in the right place at the right time to knock the ball away. His range of goals for us this campaign has been excellent - and he clearly has the ability to perform at the highest level. He's a brilliant player.

Yep. He does charge up and down the wing but looks a bit suspect defensively. Seen him twice give away possession just outside the Scotland penalty area against Italy.
