Why would we be saying goodbye to Gonzalez? I would be very surprised if we got rid of him during the summer. Sure, he has not performed at the levels we expected but lets give him time.

 

People i think we will be seeing the back of:

Le Tallec

One of Crouch & Bellamy.

 

Even though Hyppia has not been playing I think he will hold on for one more season. With the amount of young CB's we have the club he would be vital in bringing them to the next level. Of course, he will also weigh in with some first team performances im sure.

 

With all the talk of bringing in new strikers Crouchy's first team chances will be reduced even more. There is no doubting he has been one of our most effective players this season, a nightmare for opposition defences, but im not completely sure if would be happy with playing lets say 50-60% of first team games.

We're always going on about not having a squad good enough to win the league, so it would be crazy to sell Sissoko or Alonso simply because neither of them are in great form at the mo, and we have Mascherano now. Zenden has played in the centre more than the left so we'll already be 1 central midfielder down.

 

Think we need more genuine competition for Riise (would happen if Aurelio stayed fit...) but wouldn't like to see Riise sold.

Can see González () staying, but wouldn't be surprised if Zenden leaves. He's only really played since Kewell and Garcia were injured and even then Rafa seems to prefer Riise there. And if there's anything to the Simao rumours i wonder when he'll get a game next season.
