Yeah, we have our mojo back. Having players who can and do run (particularly in midfield) makes so much difference. And we look rabid again in attack. Teams can't handle us. Going behind doesn't phase us in the slightest.

Very interesting stuff.  There's definitely an element of 'correlation doesn't equal causation' (just because we have better stats (wins, possession etc) when Jones plays, it doesn't mean he's the reason for this), but it's definitely true that he's good at retaining the ball, filling in gaps etc, and I was surprised by the tackle stats. Looks like he's quietly become a bit of a Wijnaldum replacement.

Just saw this elsewhere. Our new midfielders have 6 goal contributions already. Just 1 less than the five who left had all of last season.
