Swipe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He's ace. pace isn't amazing but he's so good on the ball. I think this season has wiped out any chance we'd have of getting him though.

They've pissed and are continuing to piss away every bit of progress we made. Our reputation now is back where it was first half of the 2010s. It can change back quickly, but that seems unlikely. The only other way right now we get the best players is pay them more, which is another reason to stay clear if that's why they wanna join.

That’s how you end up with the likes of Ryan Gravenberch.
Benzo-13 Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago Wirtz was as vaunted last summer. We’ve just got a manager who plays mechanical football in a U formation. There was a glimpse of the natural ability from him Saturday with that goal. A new manager wakes it all up.

But yeah it's all theoretical nonsense at this point.

We'll be in the Champions League next season and won the league last year, and we've won 2 league titles recently. Loads of players would love to sign for us. We're loaded now too. We were skint then and had a few years out of Champions League then.

And our current financial position means we can spend lots of money on good players rather than having to sign Joe Allen and Ricky Lambert. 1

Swipe Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago I think you're often only a window of good business away from being good again, or better. The manager obviously the potential fly in that ointment, of course.

Not only do players get to go on more holidays and enjoy more time with their families, but they'll be less knackered too. Maybe that is what Slot told Wirtz to convince him to join us over Bayern.
