think under 21 you don't. It's all weird now though with homegrown & stuff like that. As with all things UEFA/FIFA they make it as confusing as they can

If you don't have those your squad size is reduced accordingly. U21 players don't count

Max squad size is 25 of which 8 must be Association Trained (AT) and 4 of those Club Trained (CT). 

 

We've got 32 in the squad listed on the website (I've excluded Allan, Markovic and Sakho). 9 are U21 so they can all play - leaving 23 players. We've only got 1, possibly 2 CT players so I think this reduces the squad size to 22 or 23.

 

Not sure if we can name some of the U21s in the "Club Trained" list - if we can, we're fine, if we can't then any new signings will mean existing squad players will have to drop out of the CL squad.
