Taking out al the rubbish we endured with H&G, do we think we are now in a better position than we would have been if Parry had sold to DIC?

DIC suffered with the GFC, are they back in the money?

No one knows, really.

We are too early into FSG's ownership to properly assess whether they will be good for the club or not, although the signs are encouraging, such as their track record with the Red Sox.

Regarding DIC, there is no knowing how things would have panned out. There is no doubt in my mind that they would have been better owner than G&H, but questions persist regarding the implications the financial crisis would have had over their ability to invest money into the club and get the stadium built.

My experience with an overleveraged DIC subsidiary is that it ended up in a very messy bankruptcy. And they were total intransigent c**** throughout the process too.

So in short, no, I highly doubt it.

The financial experts at RAWK said DIC's leveraging model was even worse than H&G's, so the mess would have been even worse had Parry gone for them instead. The wealth of DIC's backers were based on a building bubble, not oil, leveraging several times more than even H&G.

Depends.

DIC where only in for us twice, The Sheikh went in for us once. Instead of using DIC.

I think we're very fortunate to be in the position we are, and Sir Martin Broughton has seemingly done a fantastic job.

We're clearly in the best hands of the 3 I think.

As you can see from the graph I have drawn.

Not to say the FSG couldn't go ridiculously wrong, but it can't be any worse bar us going into administration or out of business.

That's exactly the kind analysis we need more of round here.

Did you steal this graphic from sky sports news?

Shouldn't the FSG line start where the H+G one ends?
