1. Klopp's recent interview for Mainz cited above. In case the timestamp doesn't work, the question is at 2:35.
2. Interviewer: If one of your Mainz players were 20 again today, whom would you sign again? Klopp: Andrei Voronin. Proceeds to gush about Voronin's talent.
3. IIRC Everton had Duncan Ferguson on trial as well.
4. Testing. I have an add-on that zooms text. I thought it only affected my view, but it seems it affects my quote too. Is there a non-WYSIWYG editor on here?
5. He's from Leeds, so he may have problems replicating his form on the other side of the Pennines.
6. Klopp would quit on the spot, and would sue the club for constructive dismissal, and win.
7. Would Klopp have sorted Collymore's head out? Also Dean Saunders.
8. Has he been leaking the Wales team?
9. Klopp built Mainz up from virtual pennilessness (he had a smaller management team than Shankly had) to the top division and earned them enough money to build a stand. Not to mention he got the Mainz job because they wanted to save money and he was already an assistant whilst still playing. That got him a go at Dortmund, who were also nearly bankrupt when he took over. Klopp is a bad example if one wants to point at a white manager who got opportunities he didn't deserve.
10. That guy who scored a hat trick in his last appearance may have had something to do with Feyenoord winning the league.
11. Has anyone noticed that Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs look alike? Or is that only Andre Marriner?
12. Did you know that Gary Ablett and Kevin Sheedy played Aussie Rules Football? Sheedy was also why John Barnes signed for Essendon.
13. There's the Leeds United player Robin Koch. His dad was the unfortunately named Harry Koch.
14. Are you saying that they're saving up their mbapping material?
15. Haaland's clause kicks in the summer after.
16. Ramos played RB when we beat them 4-0 at Anfield.
17. Like that 18 year old goalkeeper (who died a few years ago) who conceded 10 on his debut including a couple of blunders and wept, and the manager gave the whole team, except for the goalkeeper, a rocket. The goalkeeper was the only one he'd excused, on account of being a youngster. Don't know who the manager was, but it was obviously not Hodgson.
18. Rangers are winning the SPL this year.
19. He's probably the most coverable of the non-homegrown midfielders, as we have other midfielders (most notably Henderson) who can offer a lot of what Wijnaldum does. So exchanging Wijnaldum for Thiago would give us more of what we don't have, but our mix of midfielders would mean that we won't be lacking in what Wijnaldum gives us. Keita: more progression, same level of goalscoring threat. Ox: more goalscoring threat. Henderson: same tactical flexibility in similar areas. Milner: tactical flexibility, to a lesser degree, but in more areas. Fabinho: better coverage deep. What Wijnaldum has above the above is the ability to retain possession. But Thiago is one of the best in the world at that.
20. Aaron Wan-Bissaka (cost: 50m) https://understat.com/player/5584
21. Lucas was still an unfavoured squaddie under Hodgson when he reached heights comparable to a first teamer (playing for Brazil but not for Liverpool). Add impeccable attitude and an enjoyable snidiness.
22. Did we get rid of Case or did he choose to go? He had a decent career after he left us at a relatively young age.
23. The coaching coffee don't like his attitude much though.
