Cole - the usual mix of good and bad, but some great moments and always tried to make things happen

Spearing - just shaded Meireles for me

Maxi - poor first half, but thought he was the best player on the pitch after the break

Mereiles (oozed class and ran the show)

 

Cole (great finish for his goal, lots of positive running and creativity)

 

N'Gog (purely for two excellent finishes; thought he was very poor first half)

 

Honourable mentions for Kelly who was as solid as ever and plays like an experienced 30 year old - his maturity on the pitch is remarkable. And Krygiakos who despite being a big hairy centre half showed our attacking players how to make the most of contact in the area. All our players who have been hacked in the box and stayed on their feet in recent times (and there are several) take note, thats how its done.
