Gomez Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Another footballer has been seeking an injunction (not sure why it is a super injunction) to stop allegations about his private life. Please tell me its not one of ours? We could so do without that on top of everything else. I wonder why they bother with these injunctions, it's just publicity for the paper when it eventually comes out. I also think it is thoroughly depressing that as a nation we are still doing this.

RP Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 An injunction stops details of any wrongdoing being revealed/printed. A superinjunction prevents any mention of an injunction being granted or existing.
fyds Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 ..and a Thuperduperinjunction is just too camp for words.

Pam Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 and another one today - you have to think if they put as much effort into actually playing football as into getting up to stuff they don't want people to hear about - the England Football team might do a bit better in competitions! http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20100829/tuk-third-england-football-star-granted-dba1618.html

Cam Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 The rumour I heard (some random guy - not any ITK) was that one injunction was to do with a certain recently fit-again footballer... who wasn't injured anyway. The alleged story goes that he failed a drugs test last season and missed a large number of games through suspension & rehab. Then he went to the World Cup and failed an internal test so his team ordered him home before FIFA tested him.

Kahnee Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 From Popbitch: Those three England players with recent injunctions - which club links them all together? Who is the fourth England player rumoured to be about to try to get an injunction to stop a story coming out this Sunday? Which WAG has been linked with a Chelsea star? Wonder what her man would think about that!
Swipe Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 From Popbitch: According to Andrew Heaton on Twitter, all three England players with injuctions have played for LFC, and one still is. But it's not Stevie.
