I do feel sorry for skrtle, I think he has been getting his old form back over the past couple of months, certainly been better than agger in the last few games, it looks like now he will miss the world cup and might be out of the shop window as well

There's only the Greek that i'd consider to be good in the air. The others have different qualities.

 

Centre back is a problem that is worsening. Carra's going to be another year older, Agger's as bad as Aurelio for reliability, Skrtel isn't consistently good enough to be first choice.

 

I'm hoping that Kelly is used as often as possible in preseason. Get him in the side and see if he's got it.

I think Kelly looks like a young Babbel. Obviously has to progress a ton but i wouldn't want to see some second rate defender signed in the summer when we have someone with so much potential.
