Couldn't help wondering throughout why we never followed up our interest in young Aguero, despite him saying he was a Liverpool fan repeatedly. Definitely one we missed out on there, not as if he went to Barca, Real or Milan.

He looked a big talent straight away but still wasn't quite the player he is now though - he's only about 19 now I think. Further to that Torres wasn't the player he is now either.

 

The more developed Aguero and the improved Torres I should have said, with Gerrard playing behind them.
