1) Gerrard - Immense.

2) Hyypia - Slide tackle on Yakubu in the box shaded it above Skrtel.

Skrtel - Rock Solid in defence and covered for Carra at least once, some amazing tackles.

Kuyt - Set up a goal and defended heroically from the front

Torres - scored the all important goal and was a constant threat
