I agree. The worst is that you get lads on a Sunday doing it now as well, takes the p*ss to f*ck. The powers that be should categorise it under unsporting behaviour and make it a mandatory yellow. If however a captain feels the referee is inconsistent then maybe there could be some leeway for him to ask the referee to explain the decision in the context of the previous one.

I've never rated him at all but can fully understand that as a Spaniard, he'd want to be involved in the new Galactico era. Before someone points it out, I know he's not a Galactico but the chance to be part of a new, exciting project in his home country is bound to be of interest. Plus if, and it's a big if, he plays regularly, he's a shoe in for South Africa, something he may not have been at Liverpool. The anatagonism & bitterness shown here is daft, almost Evertonesque.

The best one I've ever witnessed live was scored by Mark Hughes for Wales against Spain around '85 or so. It was at the Racecourse and one of his, if you can say this, trademark scissor kicks from the edge of the area. Great finish. EDIT: found it on youtube...get in.
