It's not a rumour at all, I know it's true. It seems that Purslow was shocked that someone who was effectively middle managment (to an extent) could wield so much power around the place and has reminded him of exactly where he stands a few times. Rafa's not arsed though, he knows the club can't afford to sack him at the moment because it'd cost them too much money. Believe me, I would much rather it was the total opposite but them's the facts.

I don't know about the "quite a while" thing but he's definitely a Hicks man in that he's there to embrace the Hicks ethos.

That isn't speculation either, it's certifiable fact. After Rafa's press conference the other month where he was bleating about cash, he got an absolute b******ing from Purslow about not showing enough loyalty in public to the club's owners and was told about how he should have rephrased some of the things he'd actually said. The lads who heard it (apparently you could have heard it from Birmingham) said that it was the first conversation they'd ever heard with Rafa in where he was struggling to get a word in edgeways.

I'm definitely in. I've supported SoS from day one and any extension of that, directly or indirectly, is certainly a worthwhile course of action. As an aside, my pal who works very closely with Christian Purslow said he's one of the most ruthless people he's ever met and that he can't stand Rafa at all. Reckons that Rafa is far too big for his boots with the hierarchy.
