“Wait and see” for Isak, Gakpo and Szobo. Leoni won’t be ready to train with the team until after the next international break

How long from "ready to train with the team" till a player is back in the match day squad, all going well? A month, two, more?

Yeah I don’t reckon we see him until FA Cup 3rd round or (if we’re lucky) a CL group game with nothing riding on it

Doesn't seem to be any mention of Jacquet's injury in the presser?

Interesting to see if we risk him and keep Araujo at RB - 'cos the alternatives are Araujo at CB & Frimpong / Gomez at RB or Araujo at RB with Gomez at CB

Would be nice if we could win here. Tough game, with more challenging fixtures coming up.

Hope to see Barcola and Rio start again.

I dont see Ngumoha starting two games in a week.

assuming Jacquet is injured you want height at the back to deal with these long throw k***heads. So i'd Gomez in at RB and Araujo in with Virigl at CB.

Hopefully Gakpo is back to to add some more height to defend set-pieces.

This is the sort of fixture we need to be winning though. Tough after a Euro away and their form is decent but player for player we're way ahead of them.

Player for player maybe, but they are a good TEAM. Very well drilled in how they play.

Huge if we win there tbh.

Remember when Darwin came on and smashed them. Great afternoon.

well, yeah - and good for them

there's not a single player of theirs i'd have over ours - so we need to go there, match their physicality, deal with the long throws and beat them at the football

bazdev has made it up

bazdev's lies get halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its trousers on.

I dont think Jacquet is injured

The fact he’s been subbed off in successive games suggests he’s probably carrying a knockoff some kind. I just worry that him playing through it risks a longer term injury

No photos from training today as far as I can see, maybe keeping fitness levels a bit quiet.

Did I hear the commentator on Wednesday saying Szoboszlai was with them on the bench? If everyone was available I'd have him in Wirtz's position. Don't think we can start Nyoni in this one though.
