The sooner football changes to one game per club per season the better.

Real Madrid at home,  because that's the only team we seem to be beating nowadays

Hope they don't turn it into a Greenwood for England w***athon , and they choose to ignore him totally

Be really on character for him to non consensually force himself into the World Cup narrative though.

Some of that would be good

I liked the Torres one where he glided past some lad who got so confused he put his arm up for offside

Though a different game

He’s got the best highlight reel of all but I think that’s my favourite goal he scored.

Will always be the West Ham FA Cup final second goal for me. Ludicrous technique to hit a dropping ball like that. The first one was good too.

But so many good ones. Man Utd at home around 2000; another lovely one against West Ham down at their place where he slides in far post and hooks in a ball fired across; Middlesbrough at Anfield; Houllier's last game (I think) at home to Charlton (I think) where he just force-of-willed himself to run through and over people to poke it in; the free kick at Newcastle.

Don't recall him playing against Maguire

Watched them earlier in the season and they're really aggressive. Lots of running. Not sure that suits us.

And a stadium with a good atmosphere. We could get battered. We could turn into a bit of a nothing game like away to Inter too. Old school European 1-0 away win.
