Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Not mine - it's a guardian thing. I remember that game - absolute mayhem when he scored. This was the team of the unbeaten season. This goal was a mad celebration https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/apr/02/my-favourite-game-liverpool-v-arsenal-premier-league-2004 Here are some highlights
oakie bob Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 I remember as it fell to him, thinking don't hit it...........seconds later I was bouncing around 205

Barnesy_10 Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 i was in the paddock and sat directly behind the shot... was sublime.... the place went off.
Jarg Armani Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 The Smicer one v Chelsea in '00, this one in '04, the real, last kick of the game madness celebrations at Anfield. Not really matched until Origi with the moment that completed football.

Barnesy_10 Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Arsenal fans must wanna cry when they look at the team they had back then to what it is today f*** 'em

Not a clue where he went.

Had a bit of everything. Maybe just lacked a really great goalkeeper.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 2, 2020 Author Posted April 2, 2020 didn't he embarrass himself further with trying to explain it after?
oakie bob Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 This has to be mine, aged 16, under the light against the mancs, place bouncing as Jan Slams it in
Earl Hafler Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Ironically Molby with the best strike of the night

Saw it in as it left his boot. Was up, running and jumping as it was hitting the back of the net - seeing the Kop go up as it went in was a thing of magnificence. Deffo one of my favourite goals, that.

Benzo-13 Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Was at that Arsenal game too. It felt like lift off for the Rafa era.
Ant Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 My favourite game. Only 10 at the time but remember it like it was yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr-GnrBUWdg
antona Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Auxerre 3:0. Can't say for sure if its the favourite match, probably Barca 4:0 is now. But it was the first season after the ban and the first great European comeback that I had watched
