Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 The team with the worst name in football.... a draw or a win & we top the group - which means we'd be seeded in the next round, so let's do it Half an eye on Sunday
lfc003 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 ----------- Mignolet -----------Randall Skrtel Lovren Clyne-- Hendo - Can - Allen --Lallana - Benteke - Firmino Subs: Bogdan, Kolo, Moreno, Brannagan, Lucas, Origi, Phil
baz2107 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 BogdanRandall Toure Cleary SmithHendo Allen RossiterFirmino Origi Lallana Dont risk anyone likely to be starting at the weekend in an ideal world, ideally wouldn't play Lallana but with Ibe out he will probably have to play
rednotdead Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Big one for Sion this as they need a draw to go through as well. One of the French-language papers had Liverpool snub Vaais (the canton that Sion is in) as its front page headline on Saturday. Seems some locals not happy that Liverpool have decided to fly into Geneva and then stay in the Montreux Palace hotel rather than in Sion. Also due to Swiss airspace laws, the team will not be able to fly back until Friday as tehre are no late night flights.
rednotdead Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 According to Bascombe on Telegraph:Jordon Ibe is ill, while Alberto Moreno, Lucas Leiva and Joe Allen have all remained on Merseyside.Meanhwile from EchoYoungsters Connor Randall, Cameron Brannagan, Ryan Fulton, Brad Smith and Jordan Rossiter have all been called up for European duty by Klopp. In the absence of Moreno, either Randall or Smith will start the Reds' final Group B clash.
Gunga Din Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 seeded or not, i wouldnt have a single first teamer near this game. 2nd string, keep the first team at Melwood
Sion Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 The team with the worst name in football.... You take that back.

Candystore Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 @LFC Jürgen is asked how his team will differ from #LFC's first clash with Sion: "Do you work for FC Sion?!"

David Hodgson Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Here's the team : Mignolet ClynneToureLovrenSmith CanHendersonMilner LallanaFirminoOrigi
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 We all know its your team and not a copy-and-paste from twitter when Clynne is right back.
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Better first XI than against Newcastle
David Hodgson Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 We all know its your team and not a copy-and-paste from twitter when Clynne is right back.Oh yeah. Ha ! Not sure why I do that. Sion has the team early then? Tell me this isn't one of those 'why oh why do people post the team on the internet !' digs.
baz2107 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Personally Wouldn't have had clyne anywhere near this fullback is position with no cover both he and Moreno should have stayed at home
realtarragona Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Should be plenty of creativity and movement with that side.
rednotdead Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Really looking forward to this - taking my almost 3yo son to his first Liverpool match.
RafaShanks Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hopefully Hendo will get a good run out in this. We need him back in the first team on a regular basis asap.
Tobes Rafa Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hendy and Lallana should be the first name on the teamsheet for our high tempo pressing game. Lallana was missed more than most against Newcastle
Hassony Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hendy and Lallana should be the first name on the teamsheet for our high tempo pressing game. Lallana was missed more than most against Newcastle I'd say Coutinho and Sturridge were the players missed most from the starting line up , but young Adam should definitely have started
McBain Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Oh yeah. Ha ! Not sure why I do that. ? Tell me this isn't one of those 'why oh why do people post the team on the internet !' digs.I meant the poster on here
