And we have youngsters who should be taking his place within the squad. No need for him at all.

Carra and skrtel will be staying and it looks as if we're after only 1 cb, therefore it'll be either agger or soto to go. Makes more economical sense keeping soto as he wont be on as much as agger and we're likely to get more cash for agger. Soto will also be happier being the squad player and aggers fitness record means he cant be relied upon. If an offer does come in for soto then we could always cash in and use a youngster as 4th choice.

That's key for me – he's brilliant at geeing players up and always offers advice to the young'uns. I know that might not seem like enough of a reason to keep a player, but we lost a few big personalities a few seasons back (Alonso, Arbeloa, Hyypia) and didn't fully replaced their character types.
