Inter battered them, 4-0 and had one ruled offside. They look dangerous, Milan abject. Could be a different story to usual in the CL this year, Inter looked like they could be a threat for a change.

Because in Eto'o, they have a player who isn't s***. Unlike his predecessor.

Milan are fecked, as I said in the other thread I wouldn't be surprised to see them get relegated

Mourinho has been very clever in his signings this season (thanks mainly to Barca's generosity)

Leonardo was an odd choice to replace Ancellotti. Milan will eventually be okay in the league but will be bombed out of the CL in the group stages.

AC Milan have money worries apparently and may be forced to develop talent within the club in order to improve.

They looked poor gainst Inter, but other than Juventus and maybe Roma, the whole Italian league looks pretty bad.

How bloody brilliant is Zanetti still...even at this age.

One of my favourite non-LFC players - along with Nedved and Maldini.

That first goal was brilliant.

Sneijder's got some shot on him...

:)

I saw the first half of this before I was dragged out of the Walkabout bar.

Bloody brilliant.

É l'Inter che volevo. Ma sopratutto, é il Milan che volevo.

Spalletti has resigned today

Still gutted we didn't go for Sneijder in PX for Xabi. Might have meant less money being swallowed up by the Yanks. Wonder whether if Rafa had known how little he'd get, whether he would have done things differently.

He's a brilliant little player whom I think would really suit English football as he has loads of energy to go with his quality.

Versatile, great set piece taker (which we sorely need). Can't believe all the top four clubs in England weren't in for him.

I hate Mourinho more than most people currently involved in football, but he does have a half decent side there for sure. Other than Chelsea and Man U, Inter are probably the side I'd enjoy us knocking out of the CL (again) the most

I keep expecting to open the papers and see "the real story behind the Eto'o and Ibrahimovic deal" because it stil makes no sense to me at all.

Guardiola's always looked promising (if you can call winning the treble promising - meh!) but the deal could be the first sign of the success & accolades going to his head and him being a bit too creative or stubborn.

Or it could be an absolute stroke of genius that none of us mere mortals can see.

The theory is he'll score more against the bum teams in Spain and thus have an easier march to the domestic title. I'll put my non-CL winning head on the line and say he's made a huge error and they'll struggle to score in Europe. Playing-wise it makes no sense and could cost him his job next summer. Financial-wise it's ludicrous and could cost the president his too.

Yeah it looks madness on all levels -no way Ibrahimovic will score anything like the number of goals Eto'o did in fact he probably won't manage the same number of assists that Eto'o got either. Even if one factors in that Eto'o was reputedly a bit of a "disruptive influence" in the dressing room, it makes no sense as Zlatan is a moody f*** too.

Mourinho's job has also been made a lot easier by the general decline in Serie A over the last few years. We'd f***ing walk that league.

It'd be like Peter Andre setting up home with Kerry Katona.
