looks like a lot of ho-hum to me.

 

Was just about to bang some wedge on the filthy mancs at 21/10 when I decided to read the Guardian's min-min & look at the tables.

 

I can see the near-error of my ways. Both teams qualify with a draw, expect them to play cards in the second half

That's pathetic refereeing. Joan Capdevila sticks out a leg and brings down Cristiano Ronaldo, and to the amazement of all inside El Madrigal, referee Roberto Rosetti shows a straight red card. It was probably a yellow, definitely nothing more. Ronaldo's reaction may not have helped the Spaniard. Very disappointing.

What the f*** is Sheringham on about saying that Evans had an assured game in defence. Thought they were all over the place between them. He was t***ting the ball out for corners and getting in a right mix up.

Mancs should have won it though.

2 points from 60 now away fromhome for Celtic. Rangers didnt even make it. Scottish football is so s***. Its quite funny though.

Swap Benitez for Fergie, Rooney for Gerrard and Ronaldo for Torres in that interview and it would be ok would it?

 

Rooney admitted he dived and went to the opposition and apologised for it. Ronaldo was clobbered time and again and the guy was sent off for clearly lifting his foot up and raking his studs across the top of his knee.

 

Where does graceless come into it?

Because his players never dive. But when they do and apologise for it (even though he "didn't mean to do it", what did he mean to do?!), he can't just take it on the chin. Oh no, he has to blame the opposition players for "inspiring" the diving, and ends up having a go at Pires for something that Rooney decided to do on his own.

 

Rooney probably got inspired by the other cheat that resides on your flanks.

Specifically mentioning Pires and singling him out in a post match interview is graceless. If he had won a penalty for that dive then he would never have come out and apologised in the first place. Rooney s*** it and doesn't want to be tarred with the same brush as his teammate... the cheating snivelling c*** Ronaldo.

 

 

All that rolling around Ronaldo did after that 'red card' incident took the seriousness of it away for most people, including the commentators. If he had stayed down and just done the natural thing then fair enough, but that flipping left and right and rolling about was ridiculous and another one to add to his list of cheating moments.

But I will because you are as biased against the Champions as I am for them. That rolling around is more part of the game today because of all the foreign players in our league, granted Ronaldo does it a lot since he became world player of the year (Previously he got up pretty quick and didnt stay down). Rooney is not a serial diver yet you would think he is the way some on here go on about him. He is a striker and he dives as often as Gerrard who is a midfield player. Its part of the game and you see it every day in almost every match. Get over it.

The only new low here is people being suprised that Manchester United players dive and their manager is utterly classless.

 

I mean what's the next breaking news? Red phone boxes are Red? Fat people are Fat? Manchester United fans are arrogant?

Why do mancs think they have to try to adopt ferguson's personality? By the time he retires there'll be thousands and thousands of his clones all over the place.
