Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 looks like a lot of ho-hum to me. Was just about to bang some wedge on the filthy mancs at 21/10 when I decided to read the Guardian's min-min & look at the tables. I can see the near-error of my ways. Both teams qualify with a draw, expect them to play cards in the second half
Sion Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Two of the dullest CL games in recent memory on here involving tHE KIdz and utdVela hasn't done that much, but still shown himself to be 10x better than Bendtner
dorgie Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 2122: SENDING OFF (Joan Capdevila, Villarreal)That's pathetic refereeing. Joan Capdevila sticks out a leg and brings down Cristiano Ronaldo, and to the amazement of all inside El Madrigal, referee Roberto Rosetti shows a straight red card. It was probably a yellow, definitely nothing more. Ronaldo's reaction may not have helped the Spaniard. Very disappointing.
stressederic Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Has anyone mentioned the fact that Celtic really are s***?
Mike Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 turn the light off on scottish football someone
Barnesy_10 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 What the f*** is Sheringham on about saying that Evans had an assured game in defence. Thought they were all over the place between them. He was t***ting the ball out for corners and getting in a right mix up. Mancs should have won it though.
smithdown Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Gray, Poyet and Nicholas are on SS2 discussing the night's European Cup action with Richard Keys. A new low.
dorgie Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Gray, Poyet and Nicholas are on SS2 discussing the night's European Cup action with Richard Keys. A new low. I presume they are castigating Rooney in the strongest possible terms for that blatant dive and trying to con the referee into giving a penalty ?
Cunny Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Has anyone mentioned the fact that Celtic really are s***? Aalborg were worse though.
Tones Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I presume they are castigating Rooney in the strongest possible terms for that blatant dive and trying to con the referee into giving a penalty ? 2 really bad blatant dives from Rooney tonight the fat headed c***. 2 points from 60 now away fromhome for Celtic. Rangers didnt even make it. Scottish football is so s***. Its quite funny though.
CarraLegend Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 That Nani is absolutely dire, utter s****.
fyds Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Nice to see that when Placcy does bog off to madrid that they love him over there even more than we do here.
DanielS Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 (edited) "i am a dirty cheat" admits Rooney Quotes in there proving what a graceless w***** Ferguson is. Again. Bailo Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Quotes in there proving what a graceless w***** Ferguson is. Again. It really is impossible, despite is indisputably amazing achievements, to do anything but dislike the man. Horrible. He is the most classless, horrible person in football. And with competition like Lampard and Martin Samuel, that's saying something.
NWR Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Quotes in there proving what a graceless w***** Ferguson is. Again. It really is impossible, despite is indisputably amazing achievements, to do anything but dislike the man. Horrible. Oh come on. Swap Benitez for Fergie, Rooney for Gerrard and Ronaldo for Torres in that interview and it would be ok would it? Rooney admitted he dived and went to the opposition and apologised for it. Ronaldo was clobbered time and again and the guy was sent off for clearly lifting his foot up and raking his studs across the top of his knee. Where does graceless come into it?

Rooney admitted he dived and went to the opposition and apologised for it. Ronaldo was clobbered time and again and the guy was sent off for clearly lifting his foot up and raking his studs across the top of his knee. Where does graceless come into it?Because his players never dive. But when they do and apologise for it (even though he "didn't mean to do it", what did he mean to do?!), he can't just take it on the chin. Oh no, he has to blame the opposition players for "inspiring" the diving, and ends up having a go at Pires for something that Rooney decided to do on his own. Rooney probably got inspired by the other cheat that resides on your flanks.

Rooney admitted he dived and went to the opposition and apologised for it. Ronaldo was clobbered time and again and the guy was sent off for clearly lifting his foot up and raking his studs across the top of his knee. Where does graceless come into it?Specifically mentioning Pires and singling him out in a post match interview is graceless. If he had won a penalty for that dive then he would never have come out and apologised in the first place. Rooney s*** it and doesn't want to be tarred with the same brush as his teammate... the cheating snivelling c*** Ronaldo. All that rolling around Ronaldo did after that 'red card' incident took the seriousness of it away for most people, including the commentators. If he had stayed down and just done the natural thing then fair enough, but that flipping left and right and rolling about was ridiculous and another one to add to his list of cheating moments.
MarkD Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Once a graceless c***, always a graceless c***. Season after season of bile and s**** spout from his mouth. Ronaldo is the biggest cheat in football and he tries to disguise it by telling anybody who will listen that every tackle is a foul because the ladyboy doesn't like it - bulls***. Rooney dived twice in that game - did Pires? Why mention him? because of the s**** actions of his own - coached by him, trained by him and encouraged by him. Dodgy penalty given at home? Comment? Well, he still owes us more. Any sense of grace there? Don't come on here and try and defend the indefencible -it's not Fighting Talk!

But I will because you are as biased against the Champions as I am for them. That rolling around is more part of the game today because of all the foreign players in our league, granted Ronaldo does it a lot since he became world player of the year (Previously he got up pretty quick and didnt stay down). Rooney is not a serial diver yet you would think he is the way some on here go on about him. He is a striker and he dives as often as Gerrard who is a midfield player. Its part of the game and you see it every day in almost every match. Get over it.
Andy @ Allerton Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 The only new low here is people being suprised that Manchester United players dive and their manager is utterly classless. I mean what's the next breaking news? Red phone boxes are Red? Fat people are Fat? Manchester United fans are arrogant?
smithdown Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Why do mancs think they have to try to adopt ferguson's personality? By the time he retires there'll be thousands and thousands of his clones all over the place. What a sh*tty role model for grown men to have la.
