If liverpool were ever bought by DIC or any other arabs, I hope to god that none of our fans turn up to the match wearing "arab clothes" that look nothing like what arabs wear

I couldnt believe we went in 2 down. Riera was a fantastic outlet on our left side. Thought we were stifled in the middle in the first half and would have subbed Dirk for Babel to see if we could get the same joy down the right as we did down the left.

Thought it wasnt gonna be our day when Dirk didnt get the pen.

Great running from Arbeloa to for the 1st, really has been providing a great outlet down the right when Dirk steps inside and lays it off to Gerrard/Alonso and Arbeloa is gone like the wind looking for the through ball.

Great comeback. Good move from Rafa as soon as their RB got sent off, got Dossena on. I know he has his knockers here but Aurelio was off form and Dossena was always gonna attack so it made sense that sub.

4 comebacks already this season. Considering its the time of the year we normally shoot ourselves in the foot, its a great omen.

PS I said after the Stoke game that we could make up for it by putting 6 on the board from the next 2 away games but in my mind I thought 4 was the most likely.

Agree with that but he needs to have a better more consistent final delivery.

He got into some great positions today, especially first half but either over hit the cross or hit the first defender.

Credit for the ball that set up Torres' first goal though.

Wonder if it'll make the papers/enter folklore like the chants at Smith?

Shocking that

Its one thing booing a player as he goes down, but when he is being stretchered off?

On the stream a fair few Man City fans applauded him off the pitch.

More than likely it was to do with him getting away with karate kicking Jo in the back and injuring him

rather than just being random t***s

still inexcusable, mind.

booing was well noticeable on telly, it drowned out any applause. he'd just had oxygen on the pitch for f***'s sake you soft c*nts.

The booing of Skrtel was clearly a reaction to the challenge on Jo (and to be honest, if he wasn't now injured, I think he may well have been missing a few games for that anyway. It was a nasty one).

That doesn't make it right, but had one of their lads just done similar on Torres and then got stretchered off, I'd say there would have been a mixed response to. Maybe not to the level there was from them, but I think a few would have booed.

That said, their fans have suddenly become slightly ridiculous (or at least become slightly ridiculous for different reasons than perviously). The Observer always has a fans preview of the Sunday games and their lad was going on about how he seriously fancies them to finish abouve us this season and, when asked 'Who is due a big game?' replied something along the lines of 'Mark Hughes - he's been given the players, now he has to give us the results'. Clearly they've already decided that he isn't big enough for their new 'superclub' after, what, 6 games?

too late for that mate.. there was a fella in front of me in that SOS march that had the full kit on - though his headscarf looked more like a checked tea-towel with a lazzy band round it! :D

looked worse than it was, don't think it was intentional
