Massive game at the weekend. If we win then we'll almost be safe in 4th, lose and they go above us, draw and the race continues.

Very disappointing that Mascherano won't be there to keep track of Cahill's runs.

Daily Post has Cahill possibly out for the season.

Ah, wonderful news. A blues**** mate of mine said that he was flying to Australia to play in their game.

Yakubu is the big concern for me, particularly if Carra and Skrtel put in another performance like Sundays.

I think Sami will play and Carra will be right back.

I'm not sure I'd have full confidence to start Lucas in a derby.

If he is going to make a success of himself here then he will need to be able to handle games like this. Rafa trusted him v Inter away so I can't see why he won't pick him for a home game v the bitters.

He played well when he came on at Goodison, he started against Inter twice and we won, he started away to chelsea and we drew

there is no reason why he can't handle everton

hyypia should come back for this game, with Carra moved to the right

I do as long as he is not played left wing. Lucas and Alonso will be fine against their piss poor midfield.

Just bring in Lucas and keep the same formation, IMO.

Yep. That's what we did against Inter (albeit with Alonso the one that was outbound) so I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again.

Only worry for me is that Lucas every once in a while dwells on the ball for that split second too long. In a derby match, he'd find it pretty tough in that respect...

[Famous Last Words] If we need a Masch to come out on top against their midfield we're in a mess, Arteta is not firing at the moment, Carsely is crap, Neville is crap, Pienaar is crap[/FLW]

pienaar is quality.

pienaar is quality.

he's really not. He's drifts through loads of games offering nothing whatsoever. Amazingly flatters to deceive. I'm not suprised he's rated by Evertonians though, with their style of football, anyone who can do more than 3 keepie-ups is declared a God.

Pienaar is average.

Wouldn't get anywhere near our starting 11.

As a side note, i'd play 4-4-2. Crouch and Torres. Jagielka will likely be playing CB for them, who is about a foot smaller than Crouch, and would be terrible against Torres' pace as he struggles in 1 one 1's.
