Guest Si Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Dont see the problem really? Some journo interviews him and he gives some honest answers.
McBain Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 He gives more interviews than the rest of the squad put together I hope he knocks in 3 tonight of course
matty Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Will Liverpool fans ever lay off someone who's always being played out of position?
nrkintheuk Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Dirk should stand in the corner, facing the wall and not say a word to anyone while he thinks about what he's done.
Mike Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 Will Liverpool fans ever lay off someone who's always being played out of position? what like on the pitch?
Leroy Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Tonight could be my TURNING point?? Up to Newcastle, anywhere
Superjay Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 What a wa**er eh? Gonna and try and turn around his season...... I just ca't believe this prick. The nerve!
matty Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 what like on the pitch? With fans like you who needs mancs.
Flasher Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 With fans like you who needs mancs. When he is in the box, where he should be, with a good chance, he's still poor. He panics, rushes things and fecks it up.
Mike Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 With fans like you who needs mancs. stop hurting me
Hassony Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 When he is in the box, where he should be, with a good chance, he's still poor. He panics, rushes things and fecks it up. its called, lack of confidence every strike go through it from time to time

And not just deep, all the way back to the halfway line" Good point Edited January 30, 2008 by Rushiesbushymoustache
Wardy Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 what like on the pitch? Hahahahahahahaha, nice!
honourablegeorge Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 When he is in the box, where he should be, with a good chance, he's still poor. He panics, rushes things and fecks it up. He does, which is down to a lack of sharpness & confidence. He needs to shin one, and then play a consistent run of games.
Walrus Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 its called, lack of confidence every strike go through it from time to timeaka the Heskey syndrome. Problem is seems to go on forever and there is seemingly no cure to it.
Flasher Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 its called, lack of confidence every strike go through it from time to time I'd admire your intent, if not your reasoning. He can not handle the pressure of playing for Liverpool Football Club, unlike Torres for example. The fact he panics when the ball comes his way is a constant reminder of this. Rafa has no intention of using him as the number one focal striker. That's Torres' job. As such, hE jUSt IsN't gOod eNOugH
Ronnie Whelan Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 His talking should be done on the pitch and preferably in the oppositions final third.
Falconhoof Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 He lacks basic technique aswell as confidence. Can't finish, can't go past a player, has no pace, poor first touch.Still, he does a good interview.
MFletcher Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) I like Dirk. I find it hard to critcise him considering how much effort he puts in. Some of our other players would do well to look to him as an example. He's having a complete crisis of confidence at the minute - he's better than he's shown. Incidentally, I think it's an excellent interview. He admits himself that he hasn't performed this season. What more do you want him to do? He doesn't hide when things aren't going well, he keeps going. You may not think he's good enough, but he deserves respect for the way he conducts himself both on and off the pitch.
