Why worry? This is England we're talking about.

 

If Capello is made manager he'll pick roughly the same squad Sven picked, set them up nice and defensive so they're hard to beat, more than capable of beating s**** teams and have the ability to cause good team problems. The press and the fans will boo. England will qualify for the World Cup. The press and fans will hail Capello as the new Alf Ramsay. England will get knocked out by a better team, probably on penalties. The press and fans will want Capello sacked.

No doubt but he'll still have roughly the same group of players to pick from as Sven had and he'll still have the same problems Sven and McClaren had; Big players underperforming, a defense that leaks silly goals against s**** teams and fan's and the media with ridiculously high expectations.

Capello just doesn't do underperform. Sven was in the end too indulgent and couldn't inspire the extra 5%, whilst SCS was out of his depth and couldn't even organise his side properly let alone get inside their heads. Players are there to do well.
