I know it's only the start of the season, but i guess that the bubble has to burst for either us or the a***, losing-wise.

Hmm, i reckon they might just be above their pay bracket, if you know what i mean, I am not going to say you can't win it with the young squad that they have, but i am not sure they will. There haven't been any tough road games for them except Blackburn and us, which they came off unscathed. Maybe next week they will come unstuck.

Yes we can and will catch them.

I can see Jan and Feb being bad months for Arsenal.

so they haven't had tough games apart from their tough games and they havent lost them

If Man City can start to pick up points away from home they will have a big say in who finishes where. A few more good signings in January and they will be challenging for a top 4 spot in May IMO.

Just noticed that of the 13 games we have both played

Arsenal have played 8 @ home and 5 away

Livepool have played 6 @ home and 7 away

As I mentioned before, the African Nations Cup could be a factor. Additionally, we are playing without Alonso and Agger and they are playing virtually with a full compliment.

Lets hope we can stick with them until they have a bad patch with their playing staff.

I think both the Mancs and Chelsea will finish above Arsenal.

I'm pretty certain the Manc t***s will, and I reckon we will too.

I think the home game factor is important. It arguably counts for about 3 points of their lead on us.

I don't think the injuries are that relevant. They've coped without Van persie, and I think Gallas, initially. We've hardly been decimated, but we have had a steadier stream of absences than them, it has to be said.

I think the spine we were missing in Agger, Alonso and Torres was huge. Torres made such a difference today IMO and Alonso and Agger will help us play better.

I am not sure how today's game went today but they were without Fabregas and Hleb and took 83mins to score.

no that it matters, as it's probably to our advantage. But how come Arsenal have played so many more home games up to now? Usually there isn't a difference of 3 between home and away games is there?!

Their next three games are trips to Villa, Boro and Newcastle, all within the space of 9 days. Not the best of teams, but they are physical teams who will give them a game. These games are then followed by home games to Chelsea and Spurs, before trips to Everton and Portsmouth.

They'll drop a few points before the new year.

especially considering our home draws. we should be at least 2 better off than we are, 4 wouldn't be generous.

beat the mancs and it'll get interesting.

They will definitely drop some points. Its a tough run that especially the latter matches.

I would like to see some of the lower teams play a bit more physical game against them. I think the @rse youngsters seem to get easily riled. Too many teams are just playing with too much respect for them and sitting deep. The key this season will be the head to head games for the top teams.

Absolutely we can. Arsenal are doing well but they aren't unstoppable.

I thought they looked very average today to be honest. If Liverpool played like Arsenal did today we would have been all over them.
