Watching the game last night, you have to wonder how Man U can be so far ahead in the league

I guess all season they've been relying on Ronaldo and he's had a wonderful breakthrough season

but all in all they only have a plan A

Maybe part of their success is psychological, teams roll over for them in the UK -that rarely happens in europe

Exactly

A majority of the teams in PL just bend over for them and take it! e.g. Everton on Sat!

Due to the fact I wasn't going to waste pecious sleep (after the previous night) I didn't get up to watch the Manc game. A month ago, they were (according to the press) by far the best in Europe after beating Roma 7-1, now Milan beat them.

I am less worried by Milan than I would have Man Utd, and I can take defeat v Milan easier if it happens. But were Milan very good, or the Mancs bad? Hopefully a mixture of the 2.

Milan were good 1st half - as they were last week.

However, as last week, they were gifted the goals. Unlike last week, Milan were better defensively.

Wilkins suggested Milan were not as good as they were 1st half in Istanbul.

Sat Nav company that make Tom Toms, have had to recall thousands of units after they received complaints that people could not find Manchester United anywhere in Europe.

IMO, the scum were that bad, that Milan's reserves would have beaten them. They were seriously poor. And so the excuses from the sky pundits came out - tiredness whereas Milan had been able to rest players, etc.... C****. The whole lot of 'em.

They should come and ask Rafa about how this new-fangled rotation idea works.

Cheers, a concise summing up!!

He's right. They were brilliant 1st half in Istanbul. Just as we were brilliant 2nd half in Istanbul.

As for Man United, the're just f*cking sh*t.

Speechless, are ya?

United looked absolutely f*cked last night.

They have to travel to City for an early kick off derby match on Saturday, and if anything motivates City and their fans it's their hatred of United. Arsenal on the other hand look like they're already thinking about summer holidays; they struggled to beat a very poor Fulham side at the weekend and without a fit and firing Henry aren't the same team.

Is it worth a tenner on Chelsea at 9-1 for the title? Those odds will shorten dramatically if United lose and Chelsea win at the weekend...

Yummy --

If Utd lose and Chelsea win that would set up an exciting end to the season for SKY at least

Manchester United are woeful in Europe.

This SEASON in Europe they have been beaten by AC Milan, FC Copenhagen and Celtic. Oh and Roma beat them as well

Amazed they got as far as they did with their team

So the 'Amazing Manchester United' despite reaching the Semis had already been beaten FOUR TIMES

Apparently the third and fourth placed teams in the Champions Leage are to have a play off for the first time in the competition's history. The game will be played at Wembley and be known as the FA cup final.

And, if we win the final, the second place team would have to go through the qualifiers instead of us. How f***ing class would it be if it was the Mancs :D

Its a shame they got so far in the CL. If they had gone out a little earlier, they would have lost top seed in the CL too. Juve helped too, but that would have been hilarious. as it is, Real Madrid need a good run next season in the CL, or risk dropping out of top seeds.

This from the a*** that wants players seriously injured. Fans hurt etc etc.:rolleyes:

Are you telling me that you seriously don't want to see either James Nesbitt or Eammon Holmes to get hoit over the head repeatedly with a large heavy cast iron frying pan?
