Guest Jack Bauer Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The Sky build up is usually decent, if you include Soccer AM.
johngibo YPC Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 The Sky build up is usually decent, if you include Soccer AM. this year its Soccer Am 9-12. Grimsby Lincoln 12-2 then cup final coverage from 2.

Guest roger Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 (edited) Shane Warne is delivering the match ball. Why? Australian cricket legend Shane Warne is delivering the match ball tomorrow, ahead of the 3pm kick off. The spin bowler, who has signed a five-year endorsement with official supplier of the ball Mitre Sports International, will land on the Cardiff Bay Barrage by helicopter. He will then race up the River Taff to a water bus stop near the stadium. icwales Edited May 12, 2006 by roger

Last time I did this we won and it was the start of events which led me to psycho bitch and I splitting up. I just hope my c**k or right hand doesn't fall off if history is to really repeat itself

I just hope my c**k or right hand doesn't fall off if history is to really repeat itself i've got a football team end of season do which starts at 12 midday. two hour killer pool tournament then the match, and i'm going to be a pissed, nervous wreck by kickoff. doesn't matter a jot who it's against, it's the f***ing FA cup final, the stuff of childhood dreams. it's unique. bring it and all its horrors and nervous, ridiculous, preposterous giddiness on. enjoy the day.

Sounds perfect that Stevie. Two hours of killer! Magic. I'm in work til an hour before kick off and am thinking of knotting some sheets together to hang out the window for when its time to do a dusty, to save time waiting for the lift.
libero Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Have got a tee off time at 8:24(hence the early rise, oh and cup final jitters as well ) Should get finished Golf about 12 ish just in time to see the second half of the Scotland v Japan game, couple of beers to calm the nerves then up the road to get settled in front of the box. Full strip on(with boots and shin gaurds) just in case Rafa sends the helicopter for me to take someones place. Watch the game like a ravin loon, with an empty house may I add because the kids will feck off out to get away from scary dad hurling obscenities at the TV and nervously drinking large carry out. Hopefully toast a great success, drink more beer get a Chinese about 8 ish and take dog for a walk about about 9 while passing a manc's house down the road while singing Fields of Anfield Road(this will not be the first time may I add) Carslberg dont do TV Cup Finals but if the did they would Probably be the best TV Cup finals in the World
