  1. I brought my young lad over last season for the tour. I thought the exact same thing, it was terrible. As you where saying about the lack of human interaction, the weird and stupid thing is, they have guides at each kind of "stop" and you can ask them something if you want, but why not just have those stationary guides walk you around, instead of those stupid tablet things. We had done thing philipps stadium tour in eindhoven last summer while on our family holidays, and even though tiny stadium was much smaller, we had a local guide, a local man named Walter, and it was ten times better. I was so disappointed with the anfield tour.
  2. This Richard Hughes fella approaches transfers like the first time we all bid on something on ebay. monitor it for 2 weeks, then make loads of last second bids in the hope you'll get the item for a bargain, when in reality, you end up paying more than the "buy now" option.
  3. I didn't realise that was his debut on Sunday.....
  4. Joe Cole is wearing f***ing flip flops......only w***ers with braided hair on holidays in Thailand wear flip flops
  5. i honestly dont think im going overboard here, i would genuinely sell Wirtz in this window, 100%. he's not turning it around, and not because he cant settle, or becuase we didnt give him two, £100 million wingers, its because he's not good enough, pure and simple. be truthful, going by what we've seen from him in a Liverpool shirt, would any other premier league team want him in their team? i think not. the club should sit down with Wirtz and his people, be honest and open with each other, and try and get him a move thats mutually beneficial for us both.
  6. What did he say?
  7. a Ferrari...codswallop...he's just a fiat cinquecento
  8. but thats where you and I differ, i dont think wirtz is good enough, i honestly dont. its ot like im only giving him one game, he was atrocious last season, an absolute and utter flop. He then proceeded to have an equally poor World cup with Germany, but of course, thats not his fault, thats the players around him....... open your eyes, he's not good enough.
  9. agree 100% but taking our fan hats off for a second. I bet if you asked him, honestly, wouldn he rather be back in Germany, id bet my house that he'd say yes. we should all sit down, admit its not working out for either side, and let him go before his stock drops even more. Because the longer he's here, the more his price will go down
  10. This argument simply doesn't make sense. Wirtz, the so called best playmaker in Europe, came into the best team in the league. He then proceeded to stink the house out with his mediocrity. Now there's an argument that to unlock his true talent, we need to spend a few hundred million more on the team. Will that stop him under hitting passes, will it stop him giving the ball away, will it suddenly add 4 inches to his height and another 10 kilos to good physique.... The answer to all them questions is NO. It won't. He's not good enough, we all know it, cut your losses before the losses become too bloody big
  11. He's not world class... Get that stupid notion out of your heads. All this s***e talk that he needs better players around him is utter tripe.... He doesn't look good because he's not very good... It is that simple He's just a bog standard footballer with a half decent touch. There's genuinely not another team in this league that would want him in their starting 11.... Sell him ASAP, try and do something positive with the money we'd recoup.
  12. f*** that, I'd bring him on for Wirtz..... At least he'd compete up top
  13. Trent has Chelsea, and London, written all over him
  14. Unless of course amazon give us a shirt space sponsor for 20 billion... Then we can sign at least one full back, a centre mid,and have enough change left over to book a long weekend in centre parcs
  15. I genuinely believe our title winning team of 19/20 is the best ever, single season team, the league has ever seen. We had it won by Christmas ffs... And battered everybody.... I've neve seen dominance like it
  16. We should have left him there, the big chinned eejit
  17. but at the time it was huge, obviously Amazon is now, but 50 or 60 years ago, we where owned by extremely rich people
  18. i do find some fans weird obsession with not having rich owners quite....weird..... werent we owned by the Moores who used to run the football pools...it was ok then to have rich owners, but not now?? bizarre thought process. obviously i draw the line Saudia or some other mad, beheading loving b*****ds....but in general, our fanbase is so big and vocal, and a******* carry on by any prospective owners would always be called out on...so ive no real worry that a rich douchbag would f*** anything up.. perse
  19. Might take the pressure off Wirtz and Isak...
  20. As cool and historic as anfield is..... In hindsight, we probably should have pulled it down, years ago, and built a brand new, purpose built stadium. One that's easier accessible by rail, bus and walking. Could you imagine if we had built a new stadium in the docks before Everton did. The area of anfield is a bit of s***hole, and I don't think building a travellodge or Premier Inn there will make a blind bit of difference to the regeneration of it. But maybe I'm wrong. On the plus side, a 2 billion investment would be a serious show of intent wouldn't it.
  21. Wirtz basically cost that.....as did Isak....
  22. After watching him for a year, I can't make out where he's best suited... But I don't think it's the premier league.....
  23. Out of curiosity, do you think Wirtz has those attributes?
  24. There was some financial guy on an athletic podcast just after we bought Isak lasryear, and he was saying we had access to a crazy figure, something like 3 or even 400 million, and apparently the Isak and Wirtz money didn't even dip into that.
  25. If he was playing GAA, he'd have run it off by now
