That guy is clearly in the "nobody else is on Wirtz wavelength" camp isn't he. These weirdos always seem to think Wirtzs'is constantly underhit passes are actually a perfectly placed pass to a man that only Wirtz can see.... Because his vision is above 20/20.... It's more like the predator, some kind of hybrid thermal, 3d vision

All the really good ones just hit the ground running. It's so rare for someone to come good after starting so poorly.

So seeing as Joe Allen was giving the title of the "Welsh Xavi" Is Wirtz the "German Joe Allen"?

I think the answer is much simpler. I personally don't think he's anywhere near as good as we all thought. I think this is his level. But unfortunately, the level is mediocre....

As in being good? , because the fact of the matter is.... He isn't actually as good as some thought?

When he's on it, he's arguably the best midfielder in the league.... His turns are a thing of beauty. He has been too inconsistent for a while though, I don't know if that's a confidence thing... But someone needs to find a way to get him playing like he did today.... Every week....

Why wait, sell him in January.... He's crap

why are people surprised at Wirtzs' performance here today, this is his standard, he's not better than this....so get your heads out of your arses expecting anymore from him.

and proceeded to run around, then anytime he received the ball, he immediately passed it back to whoever gave it him. he strikes me as a guy that doesnt want the ball...we've paid 100 million for a footballer that doesnt like having the ball

Wirtz is in the B team

He's still s***e

The same klopp that couldn't get a tune out of a young and hungry Darwin Nunez. Has nobody stopped to think that perhaps Wirtz just isn't very good? Because his "performances" for since he's moved here suggests he's just an average player...... At the very best

He hasn't looked like a game changer in one single game in a Liverpool shirt, genuinely... But even once game where you could have said. "my god he's some player" That's 15 months now by the way... Personally, I'm with carragher, this is wirtz.... He's not any better than what we're seeing.... Unfortunately......

Kenny signed Andy Carroll and Jurgen waited a year for Naby Keita....of course they can be wrong

i just dont think he's a good footballer, its as simple as that. we've a big enough body of evidence now to make a genuine judgement on him, and my judgement of him in a Liverpool shirt is that he's a very average footballer,

I'm driving the wagon... All are welcome!

I agree.... I'm not than willing to give him patience... So far he's also had the balls to drop under performers...... Except a certain playmaking German...... But I'm fully expecting him to drop the hammer on that guy as well quite soon

We broke up a title winning midfield for this chancer.... I'll hazard a guess we'll fair much much better if he was dropped

He won't, because he's not as good as we all thought... It really is that simple

Wirzt has now played enough minutes in this league and for this team for us to have a decent opinion on him.... lets call a spade a spade...he's not very good...

I think we'd be miles better with the same midfield 3 that won us the league only 16 months ago.....

How has he fooled so many football professionals... That's the bit that amazes me. First time I saw him play for us, I thought he was useless.... So how he fooled so many football people, I'll never know

But how many of those where passes, even you or I could make? I'm not being smart there, but he never does anything, that a professional football player isn't expected to do.... It's just bog standard football by him...

Bradley looked like the second coming of Cafu when he broke into their first team, then the poor lads father passed away and since then, he's had horrendously regular injuries. id be more than happy to have that Conor Bradley that broke onto the scene first....but even i doubt that kid will ever return....but fingers and toes crossed he does

I'm pretty much with this. Even though I think and obviously hope that Nyoni will flourish.... We're short a real solid, genuine centre mid. I think if we didn't have Europe... Our squad would be "ok" ... Maybe not good enough for the title, but good enough to cement themselves in the top 4. I just think we're short numbers... We'll get injuries... That's the nature of the game... And when we do... That's when we'll be in real trouble imo
