Out of curiosity, do you think Wirtz has those attributes?

There was some financial guy on an athletic podcast just after we bought Isak lasryear, and he was saying we had access to a crazy figure, something like 3 or even 400 million, and apparently the Isak and Wirtz money didn't even dip into that.

If he was playing GAA, he'd have run it off by now

maybe it was slot they didnt buy into, as opposed to the hard graft as such. not joking, but have you ever worked for someone you didnt get on with? i have, its f***ing torture.

And the league he was managing in was obviously played at a ridiculously slow pace. I'm still amazed, that when you ask feyenoord fans how they played under Slot, they claim it was fast paced, high pressing football with over lapping fullbacks.... i dont think Wharton is any better than an in form Macallister, i know that sounds silly, because Macallister has been dreadful the past season, but what i mean is, Wharton is good on the ball, but he's slow as f*** and can barely run, we need legs in the midfield, someone who will kick someone and if there's a bit of space between them and the opposing player, then can make that space up with pace, Wharton is not that kind of player, now if we can get that hatchetman in, then id be all for Wharton

no denying it, imagine we have a manager thats so detested by his players, that a genuine club legend has forfeited a year of his contract to get out early. its f***ing madness

There's obvious work to be done. But don't underestimate what a decent head coach would do to the current team. The players do not like Slot... We can all see that.... A new manager that the players believe it and who believes in them would easily have this current team challenging for top honours.... Look how s*** we've been yet we still managed a champions league spot and finished 4th in the champions league group thingy... A decent coach adds 20 points to this team without a signing.

If Carlsberg did self sabotage, it wouldnt come close to what we've been doing the past 8 months..... f***ing mind boggling carry on within the club, signing "ok" players up to huge contracts, allowing a useless manager alienate his star player so badly that they then agree to let him leave on a free, even though he's under contract. If Utd did this, we'd be falling ourselves in hysterics with laughter. and even crazier, we're the ones getting stressed and upset about this, these guys dont give a flying f***

That's the exact analogy I think I use when people claim Isak couldn't get up to speed because he missed a two week training camp in Japan.... It's not couch to 5k... He's an elite level athlete. Sure he was over with Sociedad during the summer training, what programme did they give him... One that only had him eating pintos and drinking beer...total bulls***

no, we'll get the excuse next year that he was overworked through the summer and needed time off. dont fall into that "he missed pre-season" narrative, its cods wallop....he's an elite level athlete, he should have been up to speed in a matter of weeks, not months....he wasnt some overweight 50 something construction worker with Type 2 diabetes to begin with

I have to admit I was never Quansahs biggest fan, but I said it to friends at the time that I thought his treatment during and after the Ipswich game where utterly shameful. Slot basically picked on the easiest target in the room. No issue with selling him though. Only leoni got injured, I think he'd have proven to be better business than keeping Quansah.....

I find it hard to comprehend that he'll still be in a job here after the summer. He's turned the league winners into one of the worst coached teams in the league, and all after spending a half a billion on it. He's useless, the players don't like him, the fans don't..... How can he stay here...

you can see from the "embrace" they both had with Slot, there's literally nothing there...zero affection between Slot , Mo and Robbo

their 007 agent would have been doing good to see out training sessions, sure the players where probably on their midweek break to somewhere warm when the spy turned up with his camera

Slot is making the Dutch look bad, and I love the Dutch, the Netherlands is probably my favourite place that I've visited..... I can't believe this guy is going to be annoyed ruin every weekend of mine from September until may..... Again.....
