Sami. It might take a lot to push him into getting violent, but I reckon he'd kick the crap out of anyone if he was really angry.

He has to stay. Sacking him or letting him walk would be utter madness. Ferguson and Wenger are obviously the benchmarks for success in this country. So how many times does it have to be pointed out that it took Slur Alex 7 seasons before he won the league title with United? He came close to losing his job, very close. Yet they stuck with him and he's built a team thats dominated English football for nigh on 15 years on and off. I'm not suggesting for one minute that Rafa would acheive that kind of success, who can say? But in my humble opinion, Rafa is the right man for the job, and we should accept the fact, however galling it may be, that we are currently not good enough to be league champions. I believe we will get there soon, but not by sacking the manager. I can't see anyone around better qualified than Rafa to bring home number 19.

Why is it rubbish? I might be being a bit over-dramatic, but damaged working relationships (particularly when we're talking about such stubborn and forceful personalities) don't tend to heal very easily.

This is a f***ing nightmare. Whatever happens now, even if all parties were to come out smiling and shaking hands saying "Rafa is going nowhere" the effects of this "disagreement" are always going to be in the background, lingering, and as long as Rafa and G + H are here, things will never seem truly "stable".

Just interested to see what people think? For what its worth, Ive never been a fan of the national team, purely because I can't bring myself to cheer on players I despise just because they happen to be a wearing an England shirt.
