I would have Shelvey in the team every week between now and the end of the season. There's real potential there.

I HATE criticising our players, and would normally back anyone in a red shirt to the hilt, but I've had enough of this guy. His attitude stinks, there's no effort, no commitment, and no brain in that massive head. I hope he never pulls on the shirt again. He's made both Kenny and the owners look like fools for putting any kind of faith in him. For all that Downing, Henderson and Adam have failed to impress this year, there has at least been some visible effort, and with Henderson in particular there is definitely potential. But Carroll has shown NOTHING. Yes, there's the issue of money, and yes there's the very slim chance that he'll become a success elsewhere. But I hope we get rid, and get rid soon.
