  1. Can't believe they've done that. £25 quid up the swanny on Hodgson being 1st. c*** can't manage to be 1st at anything. He's probably aiming to come midtable in the sack race. c***.
  2. Important game tonight if we've any pretensions of finishing in a European spot. If we do alright over the next few games, we could go on a decent run. Newcaste (managerless?) next away, Fulham at home, Blackpool away, Wolves at home. All winable. Even when Hodgsoned.
  3. Whats our win rate at the moment? Riochs at Arsenal was 46.81

  6. the score could currently be quite embarrassing....
  7. Just read "away"...
  8. Erm, we got 64 points in 09/10 at an average of 1.66 points per game.
  9. I'd love something like this. Esp if we had the right personnel. I've been playing 433 with wingbacks on all the computer games WW formation. LFW----------- CF -------------RWF ----- CM -------------------- CM ----- WB ---------- DMC ------------ WB -------- CB ------------ CB ---------- ----------------- GK ------------------- You need a truly outstanding DMC and two great CBs to make it work. Similar lines though. Would give Pepe more to do
  10. "No doubt we'll find ourselves on the television again. We seem to be on every week, so I better get my make-up ready.". Yeah Roy, cos being on the telly is a bad thing... it shows that people are still interested in watching us despite the dross you're having served up. You know, cos we're Liverpool n' that. Still, maybe next season, with some lower expectations, everyone will leave you alone, we can get back to Saturday 3pm kickoffs like the good old days and we can all settle down with a nice cup of cocoa and listen to your bedtime stories about Xamax and Halmstads. Thanks Roy, perhaps you do have our best interests at heart after all.
  11. Well, it's either or innit. Either it's a style thing or a self confidence thing. If they came as a pair... I'm in! 110%
  12. If that happens - we won't finish top half.
  13. We should steer well clear of Elmander. Talented but fragile. Only seems to have found some form when he's been picked and started each week regardless - and don't forget he partners Big Kev. Neither condition would ever happen here.
  14. Shot in the dark - 8th. It'll be mid table for sure with Roy in charge. These are the fixtures starting 22 Jan Wolves v Liverpool Liverpool v Stoke * Chelsea v Liverpool Liverpool v Wigan * West Ham v Liverpool Liverpool v Man Utd Sunderland v Liverpool West Brom v Liverpool Liverpool v Man City Arsenal v Liverpool Liverpool v Birmingham * Liverpool v Newcastle * Fulham v Liverpool Liverpool v Tottenham * Aston Villa v Liverpool And the fixtures marked * are the ones I think Roy will have down as winable. 5 out of the last 15... March and April (West Ham away > Arsenal away) will look decidedly bleak from his point of view. That said I think we'll "improve" and end up with low 50s.
  15. I see it more as Dunning Krueger.
  16. I'd like to know how you think teams that can control the tempo of the game do so without being concerned with possession? Or are you saying that you think teams who are "possession hungry" are that way for another reason other than to attempt to control the tempo of the game?
  17. I don't think it's down to a mid table mentality, or whatever. It's just that Roy is used to managing s*** players. s*** players tend to make mistakes. Possession football is dangerous and should be avoided with s*** players as they make mistakes and you lose games because of it. It's similar to the zonal marking argument. When it fails, possession football has grey areas as to who is specifically to blame, which is bad when dealing with crap players as you can't give them specific direction as how to avoid the same mistake again. He's had 35 years of managing crap though and isn't about his change his mind now. He's a decent manager, of s*** players. A s*** manager of decent players.
  18. Both Mr Hodgsons take themselves far too seriously to be taken seriously. At this moment I'm not sure which of the two is most self aware in this regard.

  20. Boy named Suso?
  21. Ok. I've got my list.... Fabio Coentrao Arda Turan Steven Defour Ever Banega Eden Hazard Fernando Llorente Gary Cahill Ashley Young Any more for any more? No s**** like Adam Johnson.
  22. I'd take Batigol too...
  23. Sign him up. Hazard, Defour,a CB, LB, and a 1999 vintage Christian Vieri please.
  24. The only benefit to not sacking The Hodge and his lash this instant can be to allow us to find and secure his replacement without the extra scrutiny and rumour that would be present if we had no manager at all. At least now we can huff and bluff that we've got the Hodge and he's got a biggun. That gives us licence to chat to anyone we like...
