  1. I laughed. I'm still not dead.
  2. I think it looks like we're getting no-one. I wouldn't necessarily start to doubt NESV over that though. I still trust they have the club and the business's best long term interests at heart. I imagine they've got several scenarios mapped out. One of which will be us finishing mid-table, no Europe next year, getting the manager they wanted in the first place and having a good opportunity to make deep cuts into the wage bill. I don't think they'd be that pissed off with that. Our wage bill reflects a club that constantly qualifies for CL footy every year. But we threw that baby out with the bathwater.
  3. There aren't really any rumours are there? None apart from Chamberlain, who it seems someone at their end has leaked about. Hopefully were doing business the right way... rather than not looking to sign anyone.
  4. I think he's slightly injured. But that's no excuse really. If he carries on being a pussy he'll get a name for himself.
  5. this ref a total dick.
  6. There's a lot of pace in this Blackpool side. Despite Charlie Adam.
  7. Get Sami back.
  8. refs being a c***. again.
  9. Purlsow's only up there for the brass. He loves Blackpool brass, the dirty c***.
  10. He's a big Gala fan and would only leave for a handful of clubs and Gala haven't been keen to let him go either. Now's the time anyway. Galatasary are crap this season. We should go after him, Suarez, Coentrão and Hazard. That would be some window.
  11. I'd be shocked if we let Agger go now RFH is gone... And now he's fit... Shocked. Dalglish likes a ball playing CB and Aggers our only one. I'd also do a little dance if we signed Arda. Not sure he's available through, whereas Suarez looks like he is.
  12. I can't see why we shouldn't be making some kind of statement with a good marque signing. A gamble on paying the January premium on a really good player such as Suarez, if successful, would see us probably qualify for Europe and help persuade players that NESV are going to invest in the squad. All well and good getting Daggers back in the hot seat but tongues will wag in the summer if he doesn't get the job, we've finished out of the European spots and we've bought no-one of note this January. Long term strategy fair enough - but the long term strategy has to include doing everything possible to ensure European football season in, season out.
  13. Aye, seeking attention through being a t**.
  14. One more...
  15. Well in. I hope i never again feel just cause to say the things we've said about a Liverpool manager. DALGLISH!
  16. Bang on. Rafa was badly let down by the club in so many ways. Not least of which was not telling the press to keep their opinions about certain things to themselves or face the consequences. It shouldn't be the press that set the agenda. It's shouldn't be the f***ing press who decides who is and shouldn't be Liverpool manager. At least that's the way it should be. The only real press agenda set by the club under Rafa's reign was f***ing Purlow's bulls***.
  17. Imagine the joy if we beat them, Hodgson resigns and Purslow gets run over outside the ground.
  18. Scorched earth? Or is there no end to the VSOP? A crap recap.
  19. Let's stop pissing around and get Rafa back. Say sorry to the man and sack Purslow.
  20. Interesting. Not sure Cotton is doing much other than trying end the PC before Roy.
  21. I'm assuming that Purslow, as a director, even a non-exec, would have attended todays Extraordinary General Meeting.
  22. Exactly. Kenny is not Plan B. He might be Plan C. But they're understandably unenthusiastic about diverging so far from their plan.
  23. Nothing to check though is there? Other than the ventings of the frustrated on the internet. The vociferous few. A smattering of bad press. It'll take more than that to force NESV's hand. Hodge and Purslow will both be saying that we could, if we string a few results together, still qualify for Europe. Hodge and Purslow will also be saying that it's risky to introduce a new man at this stage in the season.
  24. That makes sense. NESVs plan A was to keep Hodgson long term. They might have gone to Plan B, which will be to replace him in the Summer. I can't see why recent results would force them to go to plan C if they've not got one. Unless he looks like he's taking us down, they'll keep him on. Otherwise it's panic stations for us and them.
  25. Unless we're in serious danger of relegation, I think they'd like to give him until May.
