  1. I really can't stand Webb
  2. Who is this brummie git who's commentating?
  3. We've been b******s
  4. f*** me this game is s***.
  5. I'm really starting to warm to Jay Spearing. Which is saying something as I've always asserted he was too small to ever be a real quality player. But he's proving me wrong each and every game he plays. I'm loving this too... Jay sez Spurs are s****.
  6. So can City really lose their last 3 Premier League games? 2 of them at home? I'd just love it...
  7. Pick that out!
  8. We're starting allow Lee Mason to be a right c***.
  9. Kalou is doing my f***in nut in.
  10. Come back Sami, Come back.
  11. If we can win all 4 remaining games (doubtful) I think we're in with a shout of 4th. Need City to have a real wobble.
  12. Ferguson is the b*****d keeping that raft of s*** afloat and he knows it. He's self perpetuating. He won't retire. The only reason I see that FSG haven't given Kenny the job already is that they think they that can get Mourinho.
  13. Bit of an elephant in the room isn't it really. He's been a great servant - and our other CBs play better when he's in the team but he's not a long term solution any more. He's always said he doesn't mind who comes in, he always finds a way back into the team. If he sticks with this attitude, he'll be ok. My main worry is that he does tend to take a few games to get into his stride as it were and not playing regularly might impact on his ability to fulfil a useful role. That said - if we've got 4 defenders that are fit and better than Carragher, then I don't think we've got a lot to worry about defensively. And let's not forget he got a nice big contract renewal recently. Wages most other clubs wouldn't match.
  14. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011/apr/01/small-talk-alvaro-arbeloa-madrid I quite enjoyed this...
  15. If we beat City and Tottenham, and they draw at Eastlands, we're in with a decent chance. After that... City would have to drop 4 more points than us. (or 3 if we can haul back the +10GD) Spurs only have to drop 2 more than us proving they don't beat us on GD. It's certainly not beyond the realms... But then a win for either of them when they play makes 4th a lot more unlikely.
  16. Pearce can do one if he thinks that'll be good for Carroll or England. He needs to get back fit good and proper. Have a rest. Have a proper pre-season with his new club. Have a good season and be ready for the Euros next summer. If it's true he's an imbecile.
  17. Great idea.
  18. Yeah it came in from our end. It was then removed from the pitch (and really should have been dealt with) and the wind blew it back on. Not that it matters... the goal shouldn't have stood either way.
  19. I love the UEFA Cup itself. It's beautiful. But the competition structure is abysmal. Would be far better as a straight knockout - on a Tuesday / Wednesday night on non-CL weeks. It's viewed, quite rightly as a poor mans CL. Which it should never have become. The league structure is a joke, larger clubs play their reserves against minnows for much of it. Knockouts would at least guarantee wider audiences. I hardly ever watch other games apart from ours until I know there's a chance of a good knockout.
  20. Good game. Shame about the result. We looked nailed on until the pen / red card. Fell to pieces after that.
  21. I seem to remember he reckoned Haaland was to blame for that for winding Keane up.
  22. Ferguson blasts Carragher for tsunami tackle.
  23. As though the media fall over themselves to play his game. The BBC Football headline is disgraceful.
  24. "A decent chance"?
