I'd argue that 15-20 of the biggest teams across Europe would make more money if they played each other every week rather than play the equivalents of Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, West Brom, QPR etc. Like I said, we can stick in the Premier League and abide by it's rules and collectivism, that's fine and all well and good. That makes it more likely an eventuality (or maybe just hastens the day) that the bigger clubs will leave for a European Super League in order to maximise their revenue. And I'm not saying that this is something I want to happen, or think should happen, I just think it's something that will happen. From a commercial POV it makes no sense to subsidise the smaller clubs. They'll never bring in what they take out.
