  1. Keane had the same attitude as Hodgson. That now he was at Liverpool, he'd made it, it was reward for his hard work and the fruit of his labour. It's a f***ing s**** attitude and is at the root of their failures. You get to play to Liverpool and that's where the hard work begins.
  2. NESV need a night of the long knives...
  3. I sort of agree... it would take one decent win for most of the fear and lethargy to significantly dwindle. edit : I couldn't help mention the manager
  4. Bloody right. I lost a lot of respect for our fanbase over the apathy and complicity with the sacking of Benitez. From a footballing point of view it was very dubious, but considering everything else that was going on - it was an outrage. You don't sack any manager unless you've got a better replacement lined up... and for those that thought Hodgson is a better manager than Rafa Benitez.... well... I'd advise you to stop thinking about it so much. It's obviously not your thing...
  5. I don't get the "insua was targeted thing". He was our left full back, most teams in the league, if they attack down the wing, attack down their own right. There's just more right footed players about. Also when we play Johnson down our right, that often pins the oppo back down their left as they don't want their left full back 2 on 1 with Johnson and Kuyt. So that makes them even more likely to come down their right, our left. The idea that Insua was targeted because he's a bit crap is laughable. Our problem down our left side was the lack of a decent and consistent left sided midfielder. Big shame that Riera didn't cut it.
  6. Did he actually say he wanted Rafa's house?
  7. This is the right answer!
  8. I said this would be the way when we looked like appointing him. That's pretty much on par for RH.
  9. The more pissed I get the more I feel the weight lift. It's f***ing great... A bottle of wine, a good big glass of cognac and two very large white rums and coke and am floating about the room... I've had a hangover all day from a beer festival last night. This is my day day off... I'm back there tomorrow arfternoon... will be a reiief to able to wear colours without feeling like a t***. I've not bought any merchandise during H&G - but even got a bit down on wearing the red/white striped scarf my mum knitted me - even went to so far as not wearing my lucky red pants.., have been wearing red socks for 2 days solid - hopefully a sign... I'll be wearing them again on sunday...
  10. Not sure they can do that - Gillett gave them the shares as security. They took them as security. They weren't secure... not Gillett's fault.
  11. We still need the players we needed in the summer, the replacements for those that left in the summer and we need to get rid of the players we signed in the summer. For that - Hodgson needs sacking alone. Not to mention 6 points in 7 games and the bulls*** he's come out with about protests and understaffing. There's not one single positive about his tenure so far. Not a jot. Even the books he likes are f***ing s****. I agree we need a really dominant CB - I'm not that sure about Cahill. Cahill and a really dominant centre back I'd be really happy with - I see him as a really top class lieutenant for a big lad with a bit of pace and a brain. Lucio would have been perfect 3 years ago.
  12. Which ones have you got? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbo
  13. it's not money that they have to find... it's money that they were "owed" by the club and would have been paid if the club was sold for enough money to cover it. As it stands all the cash is going back to the banks rather than their not so fat wallets.
  14. where's the feed to the press conference? C'mon LFC.TV - live up to your TLD...
  15. He's got an invalid playing centre mid.
  16. nothing to see here...
  17. if it's got nothing to do with Texas - let's just get on with it... They can sue for damages if they like. They won't win anyway. Anyone else think those documents filed in Texas read like they were written by a 10 year old?
  18. I know what you mean. This hasn't got anything to do with what massive c**** they are... it's to do with whether their latest c***ishness is relevant.
  19. We used to have a lucky manager. The team used to win penalty shootouts and everything.
  20. We can argue about the order in which they should be fired from a cannon. But that's about it for me.
  21. spending £300m on players would be fun... while it lasted. The Stadium and increased revenues and turnover will allow us to fund the odd splurge on players though. Unless we do what Uncle Arsene does does and spend it all on kiddies.
