  1. The Boston Rod Sex is indeed a lovely little cherry on a lovely big cake.
  2. I've got mixed feelings of being over the moon at the thought that Statler & Waldorf have been f***ed off. Whilst at the same time apprehensive that they'll find a way to prolong the agony. I'm also concerned about any LBO debt we might have in the future with NESV - but hopeful that they seem responsible in this way - unlike c*** and c***. I'm glad that the source of funds is wider spread so the Chairman of the group has a larger responsibility to be correct in financial matters - not just everything to the hilt and say everything is great. I'm also glad that they'll consider redeveloping Anfield. Although this may not the be cheapest way or the way with the most short term value, in the long run it might be the right option. No Arsenal fan I know actually likes the Emirates. I'm also glad they're not shouting from the rooftops about the changes they'll make. Although disappointed they've not already sacked Hodgson... Half full, half empty - but the glass, the same size as my contempt for H&G is large enough for half full to be enough to get drunk on for a week or so.
  3. I'm not sure Thommo knows anything that anyone else doesn't to be honest. I've a relative who's good mates with him still from when they were kids, who passes on what Thommo says - we'd have been bought out several times over if they had all come to fruition. And they were all done deals.
  4. Aquilani deffo had potential for us. I always thought he needed to play further up the park than he would normally in the premier league, but then that's exactly where Rafa had started to play him towards the end of last season. Absolute madness to let him out on loan. Although - this preferable to selling him - as if we'd have done that the money would have gone up in smoke. At least this way - we either get him back at the end of the season - or the new regime (hopefully) will get £15m back. Anyway - what's all this still being said about Aquaman being £20m? I thought it was (by law) reported in the Roma accounts as 20m Euro?
  5. Get well soon Davey! YNWA
  6. If we lose I'll expect his resignation forthwith.
  7. None of the adrenalin, none of the PMT, none of the excitement. About 10x cheaper and about 10x the fun. I used to go and watch Dulwich Village and Tooting and Mitcham when I lived in London. Hilarious. Always Hilarious. Not really found the equivalent round my current residence. Marine is a superb afternoon. In some ways I prefer it to going to watch Liverpool at Anfleld. Though I prefer our aways now really. I don't enjoy Anfield so much since the Kop went all seater. Bar the odd game obviously.
  8. RAFA!! RAFF-AYE-ELL!!!
  9. It's s*** all again. We're gonna lose 1-2. Blackpool are dog tired and we've not got the wherewithal to make use of that.
  10. much better the last 10 or so. Still pretty bad.
  11. oh... and now the only stream I've found that works has gone to Stamford Bridge. Joy.
  12. Ha ha ha ha... It'll be an odd feeling to be "happy" about a Liverpool manager getting the boot . Sooner the better.
  13. Holloway said he was looking forward to this game. I can't blame him really.
  14. Jesus f***ing H. Christ.
  15. I feel like I pick on you a bit. And I'm sorry for that. I don't see the difference in hypocrisy from those who defended the performances and the manager last season and yet are going spare this season, and those who went spare last season and are defending the current. The only defence of the current is that he's a new man. Rafa had earned far more points with which he could be defended. I'm glad you've come around to the idea that RH might not have been a good choice. Have you started coming around to the idea that maybe it was bad idea to get rid of Benitez?
  16. I surprised at how many people want rid. It's a measure of how badly he's done. Surely even a glimmer of competence would leave people suggesting the better the devil you know a least until we know what happens with RBS. My mates (the non LFC supporting who I still talk footy with) are shocked that as a Liverpool fan I'm already calling for his head. It felt embarasassing to be saying it. Even though I was telling them all I didn't want him in the first place. One of my mates is a Bournemouth fan and is still convinced Hodgson is the "best manager in country". I think if we don't beat Blackpool on Sunday, the knives will well and truly be out post match.
  17. Which is worse. Poor or terrible? I think we need a chart.
  18. Last night's match was absolutely abysmal. There's no expectation or will to win.
  19. I never mentioned Rafa. And that's a s*** bag thing to say. Oh big f***ing hard man. I said sound "like" those I'd like to leather. You know... cos they're know nothing, know all c****. Not like you
  20. I'd have been quite happy with Dembele as a signing. for £5m. Although they, like everyone else would have probably wanted twice what Fulham would pay. Not really is it? More strange to think that he wasn't scouted, or that Roy rocked up and said in a period of austerity... "Buy this sucker... I know where to play him".
  21. AND where's our f***ing striker. "to be fair, he hasn't done that badly"... You sound like the sort of c**k I hear down the pub who I want to leather into next week...
