I think it's quite likely that SSN have had an editorial agenda set about the takeover. Not only is it a big enough story to have been discussed every editorial meeting for the last few weeks, but also whoever buys Liverpool will at some point have some kind of input and effect on broadcasting rights. After all the massive carrot for any potential owner, and why new owners must be willing to spend close £1bln on debt, a new stadium, new players etc over the next few years is because of the likelihood of individual broadcasting rights in some shape or form. To think that Sky - at least to some point - even if it's not "His Nibs" wouldn't be interested in getting their hands dirty in this process and that SSN stories about it are going to led by "journalists spotting an angle" is really, really f***ing naive.
