  1. bang f***ing on. that performance was a disgrace. I'm struggling to pull a single positive out of it other than a lack of injury. they had 3 f***ing shots on target and won 3-0.
  2. at 1-0 down I knew we'd lost. It was my f***ing birthday. Last year we lost to Villa, that was bad. This year was f***ing terrible.
  3. Yeah - cos spelling on a football forum is really f***ing important.
  4. I knew I'd reel you in. Yes, we were s*** way from home. And I don't think we'll get any better. Fancy telling me why we might under a new manager who's got a god awful record* away from home? *it's really, really f***ing s***.
  5. that's how much it costs to keep up with the jones's. you'd think for the s*** Rafa got he'd spent as much as the b******s he was actually competing with. We'll be s*** all season away from home. Hodgson's teams are s*** away from home. Consolidation. Operation Fortress Anfield. Top half.
  6. Don't reckon that side will win.

  8. Hodgson was always gonna take stick if he presided over a dismantling of an "underperforming" squad of quality international players whilst being linked to (with all due respect) s**** like Konchesky et al. As long as that carry's on - he'll always be one defeat away from panic. I understand the Aquilani transfer entirely. His heart's just not in it. As much as I'm disappointed with him as he looked like a real player I think we should f*** him off.
  9. Toivonen does sound interesting. If he can play up front on his own he could be just what we need.
  10. I hope Jones has some pace. That's what us signing Cav was about I reckon. A decent shot stopper who's not afraid to come out and sweep up. He's no where near as good as Pepe but he has a similar style, so works well as back up.
  11. Oops, confused me with mental age and height issues.
  12. The ones in bold are under 21 so don't count towards the 25. There's only 19 over 21s in yer list. 6 players short.
  13. With one eye open and one hand on my c**k.
  14. I think it's quite likely that SSN have had an editorial agenda set about the takeover. Not only is it a big enough story to have been discussed every editorial meeting for the last few weeks, but also whoever buys Liverpool will at some point have some kind of input and effect on broadcasting rights. After all the massive carrot for any potential owner, and why new owners must be willing to spend close £1bln on debt, a new stadium, new players etc over the next few years is because of the likelihood of individual broadcasting rights in some shape or form. To think that Sky - at least to some point - even if it's not "His Nibs" wouldn't be interested in getting their hands dirty in this process and that SSN stories about it are going to led by "journalists spotting an angle" is really, really f***ing naive.
  15. It's far more institutionalised than that. And it's obvious the reporting on each team has a set agenda at any one point. Individual speculative reports conform to these agenda. If they don't conform they don't get broadcast. It's beyond the bounds of possibility that an editorial agenda has been set about the Liverpool takeover for whatever reason. This wouldn't have any effect on things you put after OR...
  16. I'm hoping he's encouraging this so we're not so exposed for pace at the back - and in preparation for Mascherano leaving rather than him not knowing how to set it up. Playing a more moderate pressing game should help out Carragher as well. We could get a couple more years of real quality from him so long as we don't play to have 30 yards of grass behind him when we don't even have the ball.
  17. That's my fear. Although. From what I've seen pre season and vs Rabotnicki, the front players seem to retreat quicker, and become more compact further toward our own goal when we lost the ball than last season where the front players pressed higher. If that's the way then it's less of an issue. As is the lack of pace we have at CB. We conceded a lot last season on the counter, that wasn't all to do with our fullbacks playing their game in the oppos half. Not all the time anyway. Not that any of this makes swapping out Mascherano for Poulsen a good idea. Persuading Masch to stay (remote as that is) is the best option. I'm just saying pace in the middle might not be quite so valuable a commodity in Hodgson's set up.
  18. I've been quite the opposite of disappointed. I thought we'd have seen a lot more players leave considering our finances. Though I never expected Gerrard or Torres to go. We need to improve at left back and centre back - but for me, I think we can limp (no pun intended) through until any takeover is resolved in these positions. I'm hoping Aurellio will stay fit for a bit and I hope Kelly will start ahead of Insua if he's not. Now we've got another LB at the club - I think we can do better than Insua for our league. He'd maybe be better suited to Italian football - even if it doesn't suit his bank balance quite so well. Skrtle will be a like a new signing. Wilson is a new signing and Kelly looks very good indeed. We need a new striker. Though I'm warming to the idea of playing Kuyt or Babel up top with Ngog in a 442 until Nando is fully fit. Maxi wide right. Not against Arsenal though.
  19. Cole would be Heskey mkII without the good bits.
  20. Milner money and maybe someone's in for Young.... Oh and they didn't sign McGeady for him...
  21. Totally get signing a homegrown keeper. There must be loads about in the lower leagues who are decent and would jump at the chance.
  22. I'm not sure the loans "couldn't" be paid from operations in the future. That's what's attractive to the current potential investors. The problem is that the interest on loans is so astronomical it's effecting the clubs ability to generate larger future income to pay back the loans. The two t***s have just overleveraged it.
