  1. To be fair. Get your head out yer a***. PFK is an upgrade on Insua. I'll agree with that., Mainly because Insua is very young and not very tall. Which puts you at a disadvantage as a full back in the premier league. Not to mention the attacking instincts of our other full back. £3m was £4.5m wasn't it? for Poulsen. More than Aquiliani's loan fee? Meireles looks a good singing. So far. Was he Hodgson's signing? Was Cole? He can't decide / doesn't know where to play to the f*****s either way. Two signings that do have Hodgson written all over. PFK and Poulsen have been f***ing s****. And I actually thought Poulsen would Ok, so I've shifted on that. f***ing crap they are.
  2. The Germans are all at it I'm reliably told. Only the working classes and immigrants piss standing up in Germany.
  3. Can Wayne not just have his own thread where people can go and bang their head against a brick wall argue the toss, rather than littering all the other threads with repetitive nonsense? This is the Sunderland match thread? I don't want to read about how Wayne thinks everyone should continue to fund the two pricks under the guise of supporting the team thanks very much.
  4. f***ing tevez
  5. That's two of us.
  6. I think we should all admit is was wrong to get shut of Rafa and wrong to appoint Hodgson. Unfortunately in this case two wrongs don't make a right, but that's where we're at. So lets talk about the football...
  7. Getting beat by Northampton at Anfield in a competitive game is f***ing s***. Roy needs to use this as his "this is a low as it gets moment"... Otherwise I've had it with him. Call me kneejerk or whatever. f***ing crap that is. Really f***ing crap.
  8. Millwall and Forest for me. Although it's rational - I live too close to Forest and used to live far too close to Millwall. Leigh RMI is probably my most irrational. I support Marine but I've never been to a RMI game.
  9. Everton 0-1 Newcastle Who'dathunkit?!
  10. We'd deffo improve a a team if we had a decent wide option. I'm just not sure at all that Johnson is that wide option. It would be interesting to see during Kuyt's absence but I'm not convinced. I'm also not convinced it wouldn't result in new holes springing in our defence. Most attacks come down our left not because our left side is targeted for being weak...
  11. I thought the whole point about attacking full backs is that you give the opposition's winger the choice of tracking your full back or constantly or leaving a good chance of a 2 on 1 on their full back? Johnson is good in these situations when we catch them 2 on 1. He ends up running at pace into space. I can't see a right midfielder in him though.
  12. I thought I'd read it had surpassed by them lot.
  13. I reckon he'd a been perfectly within his rights to drive forwards. Slowly - but surely. With his horn on. Singing YNWA.
  14. If they f*** us up they'll lose a really quite good, very high profile client who wants to borrow a lot of money to build a 9 figure brand new sports stadium. The will is here. It's just those f*****s in the way.
  15. I agree with this. Lucas is a good footballer, but he's not played to his strengths, lost a huge amount of confidence in his first year or so, ?I think surprised at just how physical the Premier League is and has had to battle to win over the support whilst not being played to his strengths. He's an enigma within an enigma. Playing for Liverpool has done him no favours at all. He's no where near as bad as some make out and not in the same league as some of the crap we've signed even whilst Lucas has been here. He needs to re-find himself and grow in confidence. Unfortunately I think that'll be at another club in a different league. On the other hand Poulsen although slow a f*ck has all the confidence in the world. Which is a good thing.
  16. Hari-kari or abject surrender. I'm not sure which is the most palatable prospect. That keeps on being forgotten doesn't it? That Rafa has a history of reversing a similar slide. I see nothing on Roy's CV that's comparable or similar.
  17. You could continue to state that there's no reason to believe that Hodgson has corrected last season's slide. Your problem there is that your statement is conjecture. The other is fact.
  18. The fixture list hasn't been at all kind (it hasn't been for a while has it?!)... but I'm expecting the worst on Sunday. Not just a defeat. Maybe not a heavy defeat, though that might come, but a defeat of the kind that will show just how far we've fallen in such a short time. In short, I'm expecting a humiliation. If we don't get dicked all over the park regardless of the result I'll see that as sign of progress under Roy. 442 again?
  19. Hodgson's appointment has changed one thing. I now think 0-0 away at Birmingham is quite a good result. Under Rafa I'd have been a little underwhelmed and left wondering where it all went wrong. At least we've got one point from 2 away games. Extrapolated over the season, that's 9.5 points from away games and that's 2.5 points more than Fulham managed last season.
  20. Is he picking up an italian accent?
  21. Dembele looks like he'll be a useful signing for Fulham @ £5m. I bet Roy had something to do with his scouting.
  22. Seems like he lost a lot of confidence with that post match yesterday... To be fair to the man, he only said what some people are thinking anyway. I didn't think it was a bad result at all. Not his job to say that though.. Very tactless. And I thought the main reason he was brought in was as a steady hand on the tiller to guide us through some choppy waters. He can say that sort of thing to the crew if he likes, if that's the way he wants to manage them, but saying stuff like that to the passengers is a bit f***ing rich. That's not the way we cruise and he should know that.
  23. He got 2 points bonus in the Premier League Fantasy Football. Reina only got 1. Barry Ferguson took the top prize of 3.
  24. I thought Konchesky did alright considering it was a difficult match, away and his debut. I don't think Brum targetted him because he's crap, but because he's new. He got better as time went on which is a glimmer of hope. He'll have to improve a lot before I start thinking he's any good like... but today... alright considering.
