Rob Jones for me. Having seen so much of him in the local papers, rated as much as Platt was for him to sign for us was fantastic.

 

Then for him to come on and keep Giggs, probably the hottest wide player in the PL at the time, in his pocket as he did was just astounding.

 

Giggs always maintained that Jones was the one player he never liked playing against.
