Nerik Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 (edited) So claim the Italian media. However if Juventus fail to get to the semis of the Champs Lge they will not have enough cash to go through with the deal. Juventus have twice met Liverpool in what is being described as a difficult deal to pull of. Edited March 30, 2006 by Nerik
Guest Anders Honoré Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Zebina is gonna solve a lot of problems for us. Good deal I reckon.
Case Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 So claim the Italian media. However if Juventus fail to get to the semis of the Champs Lge they will not have enough cash to go through with the deal. Juventus have twice met Liverpool in what is being described as a difficult deal to pull of. I wouldn't accept 20m Zebinas and one Euro for Djimi let alone Steveie.
Nerik Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 Yeah we will deploy him against Henry! More b******s me thinks, but the Italian media are really persisting with this Gerrard stuff.
Swipe Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 (edited) Genuis! At £20m Rafa wasn't interested, but then they threw in the sweetner of Zebina. f*** me! Edited March 30, 2006 by Swipe
Cobs Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i say we accept the bid now just to end the speculation...
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 good ol Italian media. make the British ones look truthful
Guest Anders Honoré Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i say we accept the bid now just to end the speculation... who was that? weirdest post ever.
Ombudsam Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 "a difficult deal" Is that cos none of the liverpool negotiators have stopped laughing since the offer was made
Bailo Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 In no way related to their horrid performance on Tues, oh no.
Ombudsam Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 who was that? weirdest post ever. 4pool about heskey and boro
stressederic Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Parry: "Well it is tempting, but I think we're going to have to stick with our original position" Juventus: "Which is?" Parry: "Go f*** yourself."
Armin_Tamzarian Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 This is such a bizarre story. The discrepancy in value between Gerrard's market price and the proposed deal is so acute that one wonders if it's part of some way of boosting the value of Zebina. It's been clear that Juve have been punting him round for months now, implying that he's worth 30 million euros might make someone feel better when they buy him for 5... Of course if he carries on turning in woeful performances such as Arsenal it won't matter what stories his agent plants in the media, no club will want to touch him.
Knox_Harrington Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 who was that? weirdest post ever.Just one of a great many.
Ombudsam Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 swap zebina for cisse to see if two sets of negative values mean we get a positive
Guest Anders Honoré Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Just one of a great many. hehe. I miss him in a nostalgically stupid kind of way.
fyds Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 It's becoming the Italian Bolton at Juve - a more expensive, classy retirement home but still a retirement home.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 It's becoming the Italian Bolton at Juve - a more expensive, classy retirement home but still a retirement home. I wouldn't mind winning championships in such a convincing manner with a retirement home.
fyds Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I wouldn't mind winning championships in such a convincing manner with a retirement home.I didn't say they weren't any good - but it's very much an aging squad is what I mean.
Zoob Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 £20m + Zebina = £15m Is right. I'm baffled by the fact that Zebina is a professional footballer. Perhaps he's not, and he's just blagging it somehow. An absolutely awful player. Also, he has that same disease that Arjen Robben has - he looks about 80 years old. Unlike Robben, he plays like he is 80 years old too.
stressederic Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I know that they were so so different but it doesn't fit comfortably to have a post which says and ends I agree.
