Given Beckham lite has now officially gone, thought it a good time to have a look at the ex’s.

what is coutinho up to now? Didn’t we have someone here who knew him and family? Regrets?

Suarez was the only one to leave and go on and be truly brilliant for years afterwards. He ended up exactly where he wanted to be and didn’t bite anyone for years so he must have been happy.

Alonso as well, the c***

Aspas, Luis Alberto,  Suso, Gulacsi all had good careers after they left us, although they were never good enough for us

Skrtel (Turkish league) Kuyt (Dutch league) and Shaqiri (Swiss league) all won titles, the latter two in fairy tail ending

Bobby Firmino captained and was the MOTM as Al Ahly win their first ever Asian CL, Fabhino helped Ittihad win the domestic double this season

Ps. That 'Beckham lite' name is utter crap

And Brad Jones. He was Feyenoord's keeper when they won the league with Dirk, I think.

There's a few lads (too few regrettably) who have gone on to carve out decent professional careers...

Harry Wilson probably the most notable

Neco Williams a good shout

The fluent Spanish pissed me off for no reason

It's the fact you just know the rats been practicing it in the mirror for 2 years!

I'm just glad the circus is over and we can concentrate on our next contract nightmare🤣

I just don't get this hatred for Trent because he learned Spanish. I understand that people are pissed off with him generally, (and I am) but... for learning the language of his next country of residence? Nah. Just seems weird and unreasonable to get worked up about that particular aspect of it.

I think the issue is that some believe that he might have achieved a level of fluency that suggests he has been practicing since long before he claimed he made up his mind...

Although I was thinking today that you don't need to have been at it for too long to be able to read a prepared statement

James Milner learned Spanish to make it easier for him to communicate with other players. Maybe the same is true for Trent.

Baggage handler rumour.

Apparently Trent not finding it easy so far, been excited with Liverpool signings. no regret yet but is looking forlornly at what we doing.

(we hired a new guy from Spain, he used to work at atletico years ago)

Been dropped, hasn't he, now that Carvajal is back? This is all going swimmingly for him.

They’ll probably sell him back to the PL for a big profit next summer

Indy is saying City are going to try their luck in January if he's still on the bench
