Ok, cool, this is great. But, we have to discuss how this works when we lose him again in 12 months. The upside is that we now should be able to deal with Gerrard possibly missing games this season.

 

Maybe next year Hendo or Shelvey can step up.

 

Maybe this can help push Charles out the door?

Sahin had been expected to join Arsenal but Liverpool's willingness to pay a greater proportion of his £120,000-per-week salary has turned the situation in their favour.
